Well, it's the second time in a single evening I find myself inside a titurel...
I do mean inside, I'm still in the skunk, but I'm trapped inside the Titurel's structure.
First time I got lucky and managed to glitch myself out somehow, but I doesn,t seem to work this time. I'm trying to edit my save file to change my position, but I can't seem to find which "position" section of the skunk's file is responsible for his position in space. Could someone give me a few tips please?

Select a stationmodule via the map and make the autopilot fly to this module. Selecting ships may work too. The autopilot ignores the colision and just flys straight out of the ship. Another thing would be getting in a drone and then back to the skunk. Sometimes this also resets the skunk to a save position.

The autopilot trick only works when you set the autopilot to another zone. Then wait a bit, the autopilot is going to compute a while then realizes that you are stuck and then glides out of the ship.
When you set the autopilot to a target in zone it will just bump against the walls trying to free itself.

Code: Select all

Nice! I guess this is good for all 'stuck ship' cases? I've more often found myself stuck in station modules or asteroids. Have yet to get stuck in a titurel.Tamina wrote:The autopilot trick only works when you set the autopilot to another zone.
OP: just out of curiosity, did you get stuck in wreakage or a functional ship? (I think that I've gotten stuck in wreakage before..)

Both time they were active ship. One was not moving (I got stuck just after capturing him and his engines were busted), and the other was approaching a station for trade (which means fooling around it for 10 minutes).
I have also seen reaver fighters stuck in stations and asteroids quite often. Quite annoying when you have to destroy that one fighter to protect the station it's stuck into... XD
