what mods are a must if just starting

i have played all the x games to date, but waited on this one for them to get the game playable. just wondering what mods people thing are a must with the game

cap ship bridges, just for show makes a huge difference. trade agent forever to skip small talk it gets tedious

show skills important for hiring anything else is optional I would reccomend world war X once you get a feel for the game

hmm hard question since i like all the mods i play with :P
Bare minimum, assuming you don't want a big mod footprint, in my opinion would be:
- No Collision Damage Fix : Nexus Mods : Keeps ships that bump each other from knocking out their shields. But most noticeable for me was that I stopped loosing my trade ships when they decided to boost THROUGH a station & piss it off lol
- Boarding Options : Steam Workshop : Gives you more control over boarding, selecting only hacking (if i already stripped the ship of everything) or only subsystems (if i don't wana play the minigame) is nice.
- More Crew : Steam Workshop : So you can stuff more hire-able NPCs in the Skunk.
- TAF (Trade Agent Forever) : Steam Workshop : Allows you to buy a trade agent at the station so you never have to visit it again to get trade offer updates.
- Mission Computer : Steam Workshop : If you would rather have a list of available missions rather than having to circle the station just to see if you can find one you want.

Thats more or less the top of my list but I have about 30 mods installed :P

Transcend/Lost colony
Capital Ship Bridge
YAT (yet another trader)
Marine Rebalance
Player Shipyards
Co Pilot Convo
More Crew
Player Jump

They are only a few I have installed, at last count I have 52 mods installed :P

NOTE: I play with a modded game, so any reports I make outlining suggestions/problems/bugs/annoyances, are made with mods installed and running.
