OK the game is now officially finished:

Beta 6 Added pancakes.

• Beta 6 Added localisations and voice recordings for new texts (new text in 3.0).
• Beta 6 Added Broadcast order button to property owned menu.
• Beta 6 Added new order 'Withdraw from Battle' to stop firing, fly away from enemies and wait for new orders.
• Beta 6 Added support for expanding/collapsing the map menu list with right/left keys.
• Beta 6 Added support for targeting surface elements using Shift-F with Mk 2 software installed (improves new feature in 3.0).
• Beta 6 Added feedback when player property is attacked out of sector.
• Beta 6 Added pancakes.
• Beta 6 Improved sound levels to muffle outside sounds when on a platform.
• Beta 6 Improved Defending/Attacking reaction time of the Defence Officer's configuration.

Edit..two further updates were in the list:
• New Feature: Crafting of special items (feature now functional).

Those two points ARE quite nice.
There is also one in the list which indicates ships will use max weapons range now. :wink:

Now if they'll just un-screwup the shield boost drones. :roll:

where do i find pancakes and what can i do with them (since oviously i cannot eat them because its a game)?

2 Pancakes in the Teladi DLC(both at the same spot) one pancake in the normal game.

Well, at the rate you're churning out goodies Lino it should only take you a day or so to implement that - I'm sure there's room in the dark pizza cupboard to lock in a couple of the coders until it's been implemented in time for v3.0 release :D

Tell them to add a command which makes managers completly ignore the existence of non-player owned assets!
And a way of telling ships that are assigned under manager to bring specific wares, and indefinitely. :)


BTW anybody found those pancakes?
And Iam also interested in the "broadcast order". I know what it does roughly, but I want some closer info. And cannot try myself at the moment :(

yep, we should definietly build a memorial for this..
if not stated otherwise everything i post is licensed under WTFPL

Ich mache keine S&M-Auftragsarbeiten, aber wenn es fragen gibt wie man etwas umsetzen kann helfe ich gerne weiter ;)

I wont do Script&Mod Request work, but if there are questions how to do something i will GLaDly help ;)

This was an important thing for me a long time awaited!

This refers mainly to the new dengerous region nebulas. The sahder was improved but it may not be that noticeable in old nebula regions.

By crafting. You craft a Gift and use it to start a 2nd round Small Talk to get a Training Seminar book(s). There are several types of training books, one for each skill type. You can then Train your crew member in they Skill dialog.
