Missing Cuspid Splint Medium Shipyard Dealer

I saw a post about this back in november and it still hasn't been addressed.

There is a Shipyard smack in the middle of Cuspid Splint with 3 Medium Shipyard modules and ship sales platforms. none of them have a dealer and i could use one like right now because a couple gigurums would be fantastic for my first station being built right beside it necause there's no where else i can find.

So far since the release of the game medium or small ships haven't been enable (yet) from any shipyard. The only ships in a plain install game to buy is capital class L or XL vessels. If you want a S/M sized vessel you need to shoot one up till the pilot bails. Get really close and select claim on it. And that assumes you have a replacement pilot onboard.

Otherwise atm you would need to get a Mod installed to buy S/M ships.

What's the problem with medium ships?
It's pretty easy to add them for sale.

i do not understand this lack of feature...

you'd think so but there could be some unknown reason that is preventing it's implementation, so keep that in mind, but don't be mistaken I would also enjoy have a bunch of small freighters working for me.

It's just something about a merchant fleet that's just so appealing.

I don't know how valid iy may be but one theory was that they left the purchases and repair of M+S ships out to disorrage use due to AI pathing issues. Hopefully we'll see them fully usable in the end.

I do recall seeing them in really early versions of the game then before Christmas Egosoft removed them.

But yeah, their design is different than the shipyards with the large cradles.
So maybe they could produce the ships but couldn't call them back in to be fixed.

Plus would it slow the game down if it spammed the area with fighters and traders?
So they may of underestimated the task in hand of building them?
