[MOD] Build Styrvok Ships and Titurel

Build Styrvok Ships + Titurel

This mod is savegame compatible and can be removed anytime. Please note that constructed ships already present in game, won't be lost.

Mod enables building of newly added (by patch 1.30) "Styrvok" Ships, which were not yet included into the building scripts for construction as well as Titurel freighter.

Vessels are fully functional, have price and resources requirements added and can also be repaired or sold after capturing - should player decide so. They have not been changed in any way or form, apart from setting their material reqs in the recipes.


"Styrvok" Ships

Are available from L DeVries Shipyard in Darn Hot Air.
  • Stromvok - L Destroyer
  • Styrvok line of Freighters:
    • Bulk & Liquid
    • Bulk
    • Container + Energy
    • Container
    • Energy
    • Liquid
Details of the above ships can be obtained under one of the mod download links.

Costs are calculated in game, basing on the values of materials given in the recipe.

Material values have been based on the ships of the same level from Albion Shipyards - that is: Rahanas line for Styrvok Freighters and Light Sul for Stromvok L Destroyer. Raw material numbers have been lowered by 10% versus their closest Albion counterparts, as they are weaker in general. Please let me know if you would like to adjust it further.

Production time of the new ships amounts to around 7 minutes.

"Titurel" Tank Freighter

Is also available from DeVries Darn Hot Air Shipyard, however it needs to be obtained from XL Yard.

Titurel's materials are set as well, cost with upgrades is around 30 milion.

This and the titurel engine fix should be implemented to the official game.
Also some other mods.

First off, the ware pricing format for ships has been changed since 1.25.
(Remove your ware values for the Titurel. It's already there, and your format is off.)

Second, Styrvoks have about half the cargo space of a Rahanas, and have far less health. Yet, your data gives them almost similar prices, and construction times that are about twice as long.

Third...why the hell are the Super Freighters in there?

Thanks for your answer and tips - this is one of my first mods and I will not get always everything right :) No need to be so upset :)

The prices format is ignored anyways, as the game calculates it on its own.

I will keep them that way for now, it is better for things to be more expensive than too easy to get. DeVries starts barren and it seems likely that wares will be costly out there.
Third...why the hell are the Super Freighters in there?
There are geometry files and xml files for Super Freighters in the game build, but they are not present in this mod. I have added the upgraded hull stats for them in my two other mods though, for when they come into use.

Hey there!

This one is already in, at least in 1.30 :) Checked both in the files and confirmed at the XL Shp in Darn Hot Air.
