Just go off-sector, and bring up the property list (ENTER-2-2), select the station, then the Architect, DETAILS, and COMM

Your station will show as expected.

hello

anyone get a workaround for the turrets upgrade ? i currently have installed 4 turrets on 60 and need to add more but even out of sector the architect fail to validate turrets.
New Config : Intel 8400 & 4Ghz , 4GB DRR2 on Asus P5Q Pro, ATI 4850 and Win XP 32 bits SP3.

Old config AMD 64 3400 1Mo, MSI k8n neo plat, 7800 GS+ Bliss, 2 GB RAM 3200

Well, i have same trouble. in Shady Vault... i have ships, money... construct first stage Station, but now, all stop. I decide for myself suply Construct Ship.

Okay - found this now trying it on my stations! I'm pretty rubbish at editing these things so goodness knows what will happen when I load it up! Made backups just in case! lol

reaaad the directions, you do this when you first start building your station not after you already started and you're going through the levels of it

Well, I tried this with the 'stage 1' of the two stations I have already built. It seems to have worked with one of them (Plate Foundry in Fervid Corona) but won't work at all with the URV Parts supply in Gushing Spring.

I have to say that the list of bits for the URV place in the save game was very short compared to the Plate foundry - don't know why? I reset everything to 'constructing' just the with the PF but nothing changes at all - architect still says most modules done, still floating parts etc.

I'm going to play with the Plate Foundry and see if this builds as normal now - then will see about the URV Plant - might try completing a Targon Tracer and see if that helps.

Thanks again for the info - would you be happy to look through a save file if I can't get it working?

Lets see, buildlist says all parts are done and all u see in space some bits here and there, right?

Go to ur buildlist again and see if ur defenses are done, if not build em. This will force ur "done" parts to start building again to the defens part. Also make sure that u have materials for all "done" parts.

So I tried to go on from changing the states of stuff to 'constructing' - it didn't work, only removed all of the 'floating' parts for one station, not the other. It also didn't reset the architect - she would still only offer the 'new build' and 'materials update' options in her menu.

I'm thinking I will leave it alone until a future patch - perhaps the DEVS know about this and will make a fix. However, the two stations I built are pretty useless - one does make the reinforced metal plates now - which is great - but I can't make fusion reactors or anything from the URV Parts plant.

Oh well......

Well this is still an issue. I just finished my steel plate refinery and it wants to build the first stage again even though the factory is still available to produce, how do I clear the architects orders for more wares?

I ran into a problem on one save with yorricks universe mod. I started around 15-16 stations all at once in Devries for giggles to see the various ships come. I had a couple energy arrays that kept building to 100% then they would cycle and start building the same section again and again in a loop. Anyhoo this was fixed by saving and just reloading. I've not come across previous issues I would see with stations where it would continue building sections or the like previously. That specific issue would always rear it's head eventually if you started a station build before the ship was there and left the zone and just went around willy nilly doing your own thing instead of waiting for everything to start and complete. I couldn't get that to happen in 2.10. Obstruction was still an issue with gigurum and fighters as pathing is still fubared. Gigs would get stuck and stop moving just being near a station and fighters on patrols would consistently get in the way.

Cool thing is the loop you can watch it in person build to 100% then start over again. You can for sure use a mod like yorricks and start a station in devries or the like and get it to completion like the other clusters.
