Fedhelm "Gather Resources Here" option missing.

I purchased a Fedhelm with a mining turret & mining drones.

When I speak to its captain, the "gather resources here" option is completely missing.

In an earlier version this option worked perfectly.

This worked for me in 1.17 just fine. Have not tried it yet in 1.18b. Are you sure the ship is no longer in your squad? I think you have to remove the ship from your squad and then give it the order?

With mine the option to give it new orders is greyed out. Not a new start game.

Just to double check it has the required mining drones as well. The built in mining lasers isn't enough.

The order to gather resources usually can only be given while in squad and it will only work for the system you are personally in at that time. If there is no resources it can mine in the system your in it probably won't give you the option either.

After further testing I've still not found the cause. The problem only happens sometimes, and I can't find a way to replicate it.

Basically, I buy a Fedhelm, load it with mining drones and try giving it an order. Simply put; I don't see the option "gather resources here" it's not greyed out, it's not not present.

I've had the greyed out problem before, adding/removing/adding again to squad fixed the problem.

However the missing command doesn't seem to have any solution other than its own will. It just randomly appeared xD

Could be a proximity thing, either of you to the resources, or the fedhelm to the resources, or of you to the fedhelm to the resources.
