Anyone still getting major performance issues?

I'm still in the burn in stage of my new game rig (I7-4770K OC to 4.5 GHz with dual GTX 780 Ti cards in SLI, 16GB 2133 mem), but pulled up the game last night to see how it performs.

Its still the 1.17 release...space flying at max settings on one monitor (1920x1200) was great. But.....when I was walking around in stations, about every 20 ft. the screen would pause for a second. Looking forward to the optimizations coming.

I have noticed some improvements in 1.18 beta, specifically entering and exiting a highway is now a smooth transition. I still see the game stuttering and dropping frames, which I can live with on stations but not in flight.
