Dubnium can I ask you a question, seriously? Since you know the game is unfixable. Since you know Egosoft is lying to you about everything. Since you know it was always planned this way. Why are you still wasting your time on these forums?
I would also direct this question to Mauzi!.
I'm curious.
I'm naturally unfriendly sometimes. Don't take what I say too badly.

Weekend is coming up, and I would like to know if I should schedual some X:R gaming.
Yes, my son! They will release the patch for you today. Just for you! So you dont have to worry about the weekend, or what to do with your s**** life! You wanted it and earnt is so hard....

But one question - when was the last time you asked yourself if the world might not evolve around you alone???
this is the sort of post i would expect an egosoft programmer to write after another 20-hour work day trying to fix the unfixable. your post is equivalent to somebody asking the waiter politely if the food is coming 90 minutes after it was ordered, then some fool butting in and telling the customer the restaurant doesn't revolve feeding him.
You noticed your parable doesnt make any sense, right? Did you copy and paste it from google?
i'm sorry, i forgot who i was talking to. let me explain:
OP is the customer asking CBJ, the waiter, if his food, i.e. patch, is coming. the food/patch is long overdue. you're mr. buttinsky spewing nonsense and ridiculing the customer for politely asking if he's going to get what he paid for. does that make it clearer?

Tangential, but trivial sniping and backbiting here can prepare us for the fun of family Thanksgiving dinner.

To complete the experience, we should all just say 'Obamacare' and mash our faces into our plates, ramming mashed potatoes up our noses until memories stop forming.

I think "trolling" is the term you two are looking for... now back to work! :P

No, as I said - your parable doesnt make any sense! You can answer how long you need to cook a certain recipe, but usually you have no recipe to fix a certain bug! Is there a chance your brain can cope with this?

But you must be one of those guys who got shoved down crap their throat and ask the waiter for more - and FAST, please! Thats a parable that makes sense, mate!

Well, I have my own theory about this. After the latest patches on the weekend they needed some time off work (german laws and such, no sweatshop work etc...). In this free time they went home to sleep, relax and do daily stuff, like reading news....or game reviews ;)
In the last week there were quite some new tests/reviews and we all know the average score they gave this game. Maybe that was the first point when they really realized how bad the situation is and how bad this hit their reputation...and now they think about what to do and how to save this.

Or they are just working on a huge patch this time which fixes (and maybe again breaks) a whole lot of stuff.

Don't get me wrong though....I still have hope, but I also know the chances....

Yet another thread derailed by incessant bickering. Give it a rest guys.

For the record, no, no patch today.
