bug - in station, click on monitor to begin hacking

Hi mates,
There is mini-game to hack a monitor overlooking a hangar, using hacking chips it seems. Is cool. I get 3 mini games and then I am told Hack Successful.

My game then goes into intermittent freezes. Nothing fixes it.
I've pressed F9 to restore from my most recent save and tried again.
Same.

My location is 'Voracious Lady'

Hmm, I've managed to complete that particular mini-game fine several times, odd that you're having a problem.

Like many parts of the game unfortunately, I suspect it's one you'll need to avoid for the moment.

Isn't that one a pointless mini-game that doesn't have any effect whatsoever?

I've restarted from that same save and found a few things:
1. mini-game is a waste of time (you are right)
2. after same amount of time, game slows to a crawl then speeds back up. I suppose there is some background maintenance.

I've visited a few other stations and this hacking game runs quickly.. thankfully, since it's of no value.

So there is no 'bug'

i do believe that hacking in this case is supposed to work as in any other case.. either by disabling turrets and so, or unluck some goodies.

I think I got some sort of time-limited discount when I last did the console hacking thing - just like discovering an "i" point on a station. Of course, with trading how it is I cannot really take advantage of it just yet.
