Cockpit animations not working.

Hello all! I've had this happen several times now, and seem to have a save file where the problem is persistent. The problem (as the subject states) is that none of the animations in the cockpit are working.

Door not opening, chair not moving, and worst of all, menus/maps not showing up! I could live with the door and chair issue, but when the UI fails because the animations fails, that is a bit of a problem.

It's a free play game, with only a couple of hours of flying around/exploring so not much going on.

Anyone else seen this before? Any suggestions?

Have you tried going to the back of your ship (ENTER-5) and back to the cockpit? It seems that's a consistent workaround for the issue.


P.S.: just noticed, is that a James Bond savefile? (007)

if the answer above not help try this:

- leave your cockpit by going to the crew
- save the game
- exit the game completely
- reopen the game
- load your new save
- and try to go to the cockpit now

jojorne, that worked! Thanks. I had tried going in and out of the cockpit but it didn't do anything. Had to go through and save,quit,load to get it to reset.

Of course, I crashed 20mins later after it loaded....

there is a new patch now should fix the highways but i think.. if your uploaded save is stuck with cockpit animation.. idk, perhaps this save could help identify the problem...
