So the game started up just fine, I got about 1 minute into first person, getting super smooth frame rates with graphics set to max, then suddenly my FPS drops below 10, its like watching a slide show. After a full reboot everything is running smoothly again, I'm exploring the first station, talk to a few people, then walk up to the windows to look out and boom, FPS drops to slideshow mode...only a full system reboot fixes this. Anyone else have this problem?
I'm running a GTX660 ti SC, i7 3820 OC 4.3gHz, 16MB DDR3 RAM
I have latest drivers and everything is running within acceptable temperatures. I have also forced the .exe to run off my nvidia card and I'ved turned the graphics all the way down, nothing stops the game from randomly dropping the FPS.
Sudden FPS Drop

your issue sounds similar to mine, i can start a game fine at max settings and get 75ish fps 45 in busy areas.
until i get an hour or 2 in, then my fps drops to 3-7. its horrible, and unplayable.
if i do a fresh campaign it fixes it. but the problem comes back after 1-3 hours of play no matter where i am, and no amount of restarting or different/new graphics driver updates will fix this..
i got a 3.4 ghz x6 1090T processor (6 cores) and a special EVGA 2gig gtx460
and 8 gig of ddr3 1600 ram.
Egosoft based upon my credentials, and the nature of the problem NOT TO MENTION, my years of experience of being a pc gamer, and then evolving into a fatass uber gaming guru.
i have concluded its your game not my rig... plz fix ur memory leak of doom.
k thx?
oh and PS:
loved albeon prelude, please add the stock market in rebirth with a patch, im begging you. (after you get the major issues fixed of course) i use to have HOURS of fun whoring the market, then making huge fleets and declaring war on the xenon. i felt like a stock market tycoon billionaire with a private navy. good times. =)
