I like being able to fly in teh stations, but I'd be happy if I could get some hacking-interface in my onboard computer so I can fly around a bit faster

If all you want to do is explore/map the X-universe then pop down to Paranid Prime and by yourself a Pegasus (they're very cheap.)
They've a top speed of over 1000kmh, you can cross sectors even without seta faster than you can in any other type of ship with seta installed. Install seta in your pegasus and expect a hairy ride as your ship seems to try to fly past other ships/stations as close as possible!

And for long distance travel you should have a ship equiped with a jumpdrive.

If you want a fast ship for trading then try either a Boron Manta(can carry up to XL size goods) or Split Iguana(can only carry up to M size goods.)

And don't forget that if you've got a docking-computer you can instantly dock at a station from 4.99km away.

Try posting in the "Scripting and Modding" Forum....

You may get a little more bang for your buck there.

I think he also wants the stations bigger on the inside. Basically, a internal level.
