How do i install mods

Well shoot I cant find the thread expaining just that but IIRC...

You need to create a folder called extensions, this folder goes into your install folder for X Rebirth, then the mod goes in (should be in a named folder as well I think..?

well i did spend a good 30 min serching befor i posted... seems people are chucking out mods already ...

but no clues on how to use them

if it is a proper mode than here:

\Steam\steamapps\common\X Rebirth\extensions

where as the extensions folder you have to create manual.

Does anyone know if the mod "Show Skills" works in X Rebirth 4.3? I have placed the file in the extensions directory w/the folders holding the file. I have even pasted a copy of the file in the extensions directory in addition to the subdirectories. I see no differences. So, I wonder if it works in this version.

Any responses will be appreciated.

You install to '/ x rebirth/extensions'

Usually they are enabled by default. Be careful of mods that add items to the saved file. You will need to remove the mod from the save file manually.

Show skills works. You likely have an earlier version or some other mod conflicts with it.
