Disagree all you want, it's just what the word "beginning" means.

Can't argue against facts.

On topic though, even if we know there will be 1-2 months marketing before the game is released, nothing says the marketing will actually start when the release date is revealed. So they could give us a december release date for all we know.

The beginning of August starts to smell like vapourware. Anyway Bernd said in the interview, that the release date will be released in Gamescom, at the worst, we have to wait for 3 weeks and a bit. I rather prefer to have a bit more info on the game, than a release date anyway.

They will announce the release tuesday or thursday next week and it will be a month not a day... ie. December 2013

I don't think it will sit well to blow a hard date so this is their best choice.

Gamescon is 22nd – 25th. Personally I'm expecting the release date around the 20th, such would be typical Egosoft fashion.
