how to disable the 60 fps cap for X3AP? - No method.

Spent about an hour looking on the forums without finding a clear way of how to do this. Just got a amd 7970 and want to see what it can do. I did find that its not a v-sync fix but a frame cap that was implemented to avoid overheating. I'm not to worried about overheating my card just want to get more then 60 fps. I know this card is a beast because my factory complex system that I have about 70 factory's in still runs at a steady 60 fps up from about 6fps with my gtx 285. Please let me know if its possible to turn off the frame rate cap and how I would go about doing it.

Hi, I doubt anyone here who is not a Dev or associate would know, and even if they did know and were prepared to share it would not be published in open forum because of the potential for system damage the measure was intended to address. Your best bet would be to PM someone from the company such as CBJ.

No, there is no way to disable the cap.

Don't know about AMD cards, but i can disable it on my nvidia card in nvidia control panel by turning off the vsync option there for AP specifically.
