X3 Albion Prelude Galaxymap

Hello Folks.
I want to present my little Project:
X3 Albion Prelude Galaxymap

I have adjust the style like the game and i find it's good succeeded. :D
Additionally i colored the sectors for better racedetection.
For more infos go there to the "i" Symbol bottom right or over the sectors.
The map is based on the size 1064x761 pixels and must be look great for monitors with 1280x1204 and up.

For more info click on the stations/objects in navigationmenu.

I hope you like it and it helps you for seeking sectors and others. ;)

Very nice work so far. The sector asteroid information will be very useful.

The sector contents are partially dynamic after first creation. In X3AP the AI removal of unused stations is not so common as happens in X3TC so your initial state sector maps should stay accurate a bit longer for that reason.

Perhaps your sector map could show differently the stations that are semi-permanent and will always eventually respawn in place if destroyed by enemies (eg Shipyards, Equipment Docks, Trading Stations, Military Outposts, etc) compared to those stations that may either disappear permanently, may be rebuilt nearby in the sector (eg Pirate Anarchy Ports), or will be respawned in another sector (such as Pirate Bases).

It would also be useful to say if the sector is a core or border sector for the owner race as that may affect player entry conditions. The sector sunlight % could be useful too.

These are looking great! Keep up the good work!

I noticed that the wares list for the ED in Ceo's Buckzoid (which is a nice touch by the way!) shows some comments?

eg: /*SS_WARE_SW_EXPLORE_1*/

Not sure if you can edit those out from those popups when you click on the dock?

Anyway, Looking great!

Edit: the same comment problem is in the Kingdom's End ED as well. Only seems to be comments for some equipment (like Patrol Command Software, Explorer Command Software, Carrier Command Software). Since you're still working on this, it should be hopefully easy to filter it out.

Hello, good work so far. We would normally tend only to put completed guides/tools into the Sticky rather than a work still in progress. That way there is no chance of users making mistakes because of incomplete advice there.

The Galaxymap is now ready.
Only still some little improvements. (In History)
And the first 8 Sectors have now Mouseover-Effect for better found the Objects on the map. (On work)

how do you guys handle when playing the game? because alt+TAB is not very convenient.

And i use 2 Monitors :D

Second monitor is always useful. I use it for Xadrian's Complex Calculator too.

Have AP in Windows Mode on one monitor.
When | get build bissions,I switch monitors and use Xadrian to find the nearest shipyard that supplies the required station. :)
