X3AP 3.0 Can't see mission targets *SPOILER ALERT*

I just started

the HQ Plot, and I'm at "Homefield Advantage". The mission is to take out the mines surrounding the station, but when I select either "Autopilot Fly to" or "Autopilot Attack", which were the only available selections, The Cerberus I'm flying stops dead. If I select "Attack all Enemies" the ship ignores the mines. I see them on the map, but they don't show up anywhere else. I can't see them, I can't shoot at them, I can't ram them.

Please, I'm looking for help.

Lots of issues with this post. Firstly I assume this is X3AP 3.0 so I will put it in the title. Secondly this is gameplay and not Tech Sp so you need to be moved to the X-Universe forum where the spoiler tags should start to work. Thirdly I'm moving the spoiler tags to actually conceal the spoilers!

Those objects have always behaved as you describe in X3TC/X3AP so you need to deal with it. Here is an older X3TC thread that may help you a bit.

Is this a mod or non English version?

I think this is the HQ plot from X3TC. Are the Yaki involved? If so, I set my turrets to attack enemies and followed the cursor as best I could.
