Well, I've tried about everything I could to alleviate these random crashes. I've been scouring these forums after each crash (43 crashes in the last 24 hours according to my event viewer) and have attempted every sane solution I've seen... I've reverified the game files, disabled avg, updated my drivers, removed codec packs, and rebooted. I've seen zero difference in the playability, so I've resorted to posting here my event logs in hope someone can decipher something from them that I haven't tried.

It seems to occur randomly, I.E. hit turbo, crash. fire a gun, crash. Large explosion, crash. If I just sit there in space and do nothing it's stable, but it's crashed going through gates, docking/undocking, it's pretty random. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried disabling alchemy, running without EAX, ect.

Your DXDiag looks fairly sane and you seem to have tried a fair number of sensible things. Suggestions at this stage are:
• Try disabling or removing your sound card completely to eliminate sound-related issues.
• Run some memory tests using memtest86, and try removing individual memory sticks or pairs of sticks to see if you can find a faulty one.
• Check that the memory is not overclocked and that the latency settings are not too tight.
• This is a tricky one, but see if you can identify whether there's a problem with the stability of power supplied by the PSU.
Note that this is a particularly demanding game in a number of ways, and that even on PCs that are stable when running other games and applications, it has been known to expose problems with the underlying hardware.

For what it is worth (although you say you have tried without it), a lot of people have reported X3 stability issues when running Creative's ALchemy to emulate surroundsound/EAX. Is the issue as bad when it is disabled?
I would definitely do futher testing on the audio hardware/driver (sound effects being a common factor in all the crash scenarios you mentioned) such as by disabling the sound device and driver as CBJ suggested (right click on the audio device in Device Manager to get options) and then seeing if in-game stability returns (you can enable subtitles in-game for the test).
A further option is to enable and use the onboard sound chipset with a recent driver while the Creative SB is disabled.
There can be a separate issue on, or shortly after, use of Turbo under some set-up circumstances so take that into consideration when testing.

Ok guys thanks for all the help. It's fixed now, not a single crash.. but I ended up following every single piece of advice I've found on these forums. Here are the steps I took:
Uninstalled K-lite (ffdshow filter issue... I may reinstall it as that didn't fix my issue)
updated both videocard, motherboard bios, sound card drivers
Started looking for any cyclical events my computer would be running in the background,
Had a shared printer that caused one crash in the event viewer, so I removed it. Seemed to coincide with the X3AP.exe crash log, so I ruled that out.
Disabled EAX/Alchemy. both. Didn't notice a sound difference, I still get full 5.1 so...
I play at 6060x1200 resolution. I tried bringing it down to a single monitor, but didn't fix the issue so I went back to max graphics
Disabled my Madcatz Cyborg AMBX lights. Didn't fix the issue, so went back to using them.
Reverified steam cache
After all of this, still was having the crashing issue, so I followed the advice posted and un oc'd my memory timings, unmapped the turbo button from the bonus pack and put it on the keyboard instead of my trusty, ancient Sidewinder Force Feedback 2.
Problem fixed. Not sure which of the last two solutions fixed the issue, but I still nail 7.9 Windows Experience Index so not really missing the timing.
Too busy playing now to bother with verifying which one fixed it. Starting to miss having the turbo boost available tactically though.
Again, I'm betting if you follow everything in that list it will solve 99% of crashing issues for people.
