Moved to correct forum.

The DxDiag looks good apart from you having Haali codecs. Uninstall the application or codec pack (such as k-lite, CCCP, etc) that installed them to remove them permanently.

I suspect there could be a problem with your game installation (if you have not modified it yourself). If vanilla then do the Steam verify for both games as here.

Try without overclocking the gpu if the problem persists. One techie review of your entry-level graphics card said that it had low 3D performance and memory usage issues (a comment supported by its high shared video RAM figure and your high use of pagefile despite having lots of fitted RAM). The review summed up with "The GeForce 210 is not a gaming card with its 16 shader processors, of course. The best it can do is to run simple and undemanding games like The Sims. It is not even declared to support PhysX due to such poor computing resources."

I don't know how representative that review really is but it doesn't sound too encouraging.

Hmmm... Rule 1 - never install anything that doesn't come with an uninstaller.

You can try a tool like Codec Sniper. Free and safe download from reputable sites. You have to run it in an Admin Account and start it by right-click and 'run and admin'. You should then be able to delete any and all Haali codecs. Do not feel tempted to remove anything else, not even codecs shown as broken, as the free tool was written for Windows XP rather than Win7.

A bad audio codec, just like any other bad file/program, can cause slow downs, crashes, waste cpu resources and memory, etc. You have both audio and video codecs from Haali if you check your DxDiag list of DirectShow filters.
