About third-person camera and ship handing?
In Previous X3 games, ship handing/camera is too hard/fixed. It doesn't feel good.
Is there any improvements on Rebirth?
Thanks

I would also like to know how third person will be in XR. Especially in terms of drones, when half the game is a simulator in a simulator, it should be more realsitic to switch between 3rd and 1st person view.
XR Station Match Finder 1.1 <-- check ideal station combinations (for best use of mass-traffic)/production/resources + ware finder.

Did you ever see yourself when walking or your car while driving in 3rd person view? it's hardly realisticEuRoKa wrote:it should be more realsitic to switch between 3rd and 1st person view.

I just hope the first person view is staggeringly impressive, especially considering we are only getting 1 ship to fly

I always thought a great idea for an immersive way to give the player a third person view is to give them a tiny drone that hovers around the ship ( or whatever the game is) and physically moves around the ship to look at different things.
it might be cool to be able to purchase more advanced "view drones" (or a better name) or upgrade them and be able to destroy them. then the player would have t look out windows.

Then go play EVE. Point and click control isn't really 'control'. YUCK!Hardscript wrote:I want eve's ship control.

Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

I personally don't like point and click "control" (if it can even be called control). I prefer Egosoft's style much more personally.
