Tai Gordon, nachdem was ich bisher so über X2 gelesen habe scheint es ein sehr Prozessor-intesives Spiel zu sein. Ein komplettes Universum wird simuliert, viel AI im Hintergrund...

Da Du einen äußerst leistungsfähigen Prozessor besitzt wird bei Dir X2 eher durch Deine Grafikkarte ausgebremst, im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Usern, bei denen der Prozessor die FPS begrenzt.

Eine einfache Methode heraus zu finden ob die Grafikkarte oder Prozessor das System ausbremst, ist es die Grafikdetails/Auflösung runter zu schrauben. Gibt das keine (deutlich)höheren FPS ist der Prozessor der "Flaschenhals".

Die GF4200 bremst Deinen Prozessor auf jeden Fall.

naja...also wie ich es auf niedrigeren settings getestet hab(800*600) war es schon um einiges schneller...
mit den details an waren es sicher 12fps mehr(laut benchmark)
ohne allen details ist es sowieso knapp an den 100, wenn nicht mehr (variiert manchmal)

also ich würde schon meinen dass es die graka ist, denn im spiel läuft es absolut flüssig - interessanter weise

könnte Cool&Quiet den prozessor fürs spielen langsamer machen?

naja...ich hoffe dass es nur an der graka liegt, sonst ärger ich mich zu tode...aber okay, warum sollte es nicht an der graka liegen, wenn ich mir die anderen benchmarks so ansehe...

Der Benchmark scheint sehr stark mit dem Prozessor zu skalieren.
Trotz der average von 77FPS würde ich es aber nicht unbedingt flüssig nennen. Spielbar natürlich auf jeden Fall.
