Hello all just want to know how you can get more credits tried it on script editor for example script .... tried giving myself 400000000 credits but when i loaded the example level i still only had 1000 credits........... any one help has i have never done any editing before.... cheer's from a very noobie........ silverbullet............ That's a working money script. Without seeing yours I can't say what you've done wrong.

was load the example level...

you'd then have to re-enable scripting, then re-run your script

Bit of a game killer this, so I only use it on my testing modified saves.

First thing I learnt to add in the script editor, for obvious reasons...
It really can remove any point to the game, and make you feel dirty, anyway its your game

In Script editor:
<New Script> enter script name ie "Iwannacheat"
Select <New Line>
Go to >> >> Trade Commands -> Add money to player.
Then select Script Input, <number> and enter amount of money desired.
Run script

I downloaded your script(that "gimme_cash_now_one"), cause it would give me the possibilty to cheat
only a little, to bring myself to a better stand, without spoiling to much
fun. (I'm still at the beginning of the game, I have not even made my first
1.000.000 credits and those f**** Khaaks are already swarming my stations
(and I mean swarming, 30 Ships are attacking my bases, I cannot even afford
some damn gunturrets, cause they cost a little fortune, not to mention
a fight-capable M3, and I sit in a TP with 1MW shield).

But enough of the many words, I cannot run your script, I copied everything
in the real folder, but I find no menu-item in the game (maybe I'm just too
stupid).

Could it be, that your script only works with the english version, cause I'm
using the german one. Or must scripts be activated seperatly ?

could be that its only english as i dont read, write, or think german (although german by heritage/nationallity), and i didnt add a "49" language file, i dont know for sure if "44" language files are compatible with german games or not??

you have to activate the script editor, select it and go into script editor and when you see the giant list of scripts, highlight the one you wand and type 'r'
