Maybe you have an older version of my homepage on your harddrive and your system read this. Use the link on my site and press "F5" for actualisation. Than should it work.humblemerchant wrote:Where are the download links to the newest version?
I can't find them on your homepage. There is only the old v51 patch.
Maybe I'm simply too stupid, but could you please tell me where EXACTLY I can download your great mod?

Ok...I'm having trouble getting the mod to work.
I downloaded the file which says ITS_X3TC_CP_Basis_5.
I unzipped it into my X3:TC Steam folder and renamed the cat/dat files to the next highest number.
I removed PSC01's cockpit mod and started the game. When I tried loading my savegame, it crashed. It said Terran Conflict stopped working and I got that with each savegame I tried.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, Terran Conflict Conflict updated to the latest version on Steam and no other mods except for PSC01's cockpit mod which I removed before installing this one.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? When I put everything back the way it was, my game ran fine and PSC01's cockpit mod went back to working like normal.
The only thing I haven't tried was running and saving a game without PSC01's mod active before applying this mod.
I'm just checking here to verify that I'm not missing anything else.

Yes that's the point. Please test this. I'm sure my Basis-mod is not the problem. This mod is very gentle. But PSCO1 mod have a TShip. When you delete his files then can it give problems with the savegame. Please check my first thread here. I have wrote what you can do to remove and install mods.Slashman wrote: The only thing I haven't tried was running and saving a game without PSC01's mod active before applying this mod.

Short I say:
- fly to an empty sector
- use only the space suit
- save the game
- quit the game
- remove the mod
- start the game, load the save and test
- when game is running save again
- quit the game
- install the new mod
- start the game, load the save and test again
- is all ready you can play again

Thanks Imp!
I tried it again with a clean save and then installed your mod. Works like a charm!
I really like the new cockpits I'm seeing. If this is clear to work for AP, then I'm using it for sure there once I finally get around to installing it.
One other thing: The no info patch from PSCO1. Does that remove the target info bars from the bottom of the screen?
I've downloaded it, but haven't applied it yet...wasn't sure exactly what it took out.

Yes it removes the infobar on the bottom with info from your ship and targetobject. And it removes the radar too.Slashman wrote:One other thing: The no info patch from PSCO1. Does that remove the target info bars from the bottom of the screen?
