Hello TECSG, ok to use stealth satellite with an explorer, what should i do since Universal explorer doesnt seems to be updated now (probably because of Skyrim hehe)? I am done with Skyrim so i can continue with XTC.
Hum, just downloaded the last version tried it twice and it seems that nothing work lol. I have no more SCS sold in any station and no more installed on my ship. There is a new item sold in station for 48 000 000+ but the description of this item is a bit weird for some reason. The description was fine with the .spk but since it was not working i downloaded the zip and now the description is a bit weird. Hum just saw than you updated the program today so maybe a bug appeared, will wait for your answer .
@ TECSG:
Hi,
your script overrides a few vanilla scripts like "!fight.attack.object.pck" right?
Does that affect the Vanilla command which is used to attack a single ship ?
I ask that because I'm getting game freezes when I try to use that command on my playership.
I am sure, if it was a vanilla problem then the technical support would be full of threads about it and I have only few other scripts. None of them should have that effect, I guess.
I think in the UE scripts you can deploy a satellite network, the integration of the Stealth Satellites allows you to deploy a 'stealthed' satellite rather than a 'plain' Navigational or Advanced one.
I'm not sure what would be 48,000,000+ in the stations, it sounds like you may have either a conflict or bad install (of a script or the game).
I don't think you need the SCS software installed on your ship for the UE scripts to use Stealth Satellites, but you'd be better off asking on the UE thread about that.
The only modification in the "!fight.attack.object" (and all the other in-game scripts that are modified) is to allow the scripts to ignore any target that is supposed to be 'stealthed'.
This should not have any effect on the command other than that. If the target is not 'stealthed', the script will process the target as normal.
What are you trying to attack (and are you in TC or AP)?
Let me know and I'll look into it and see if I can replicate your results.

The game is X3:AP
the first time I wanted to attack a Pirate M5 with a Hyperion
second time: angel -> random split ship (can't remember why)
third time: same ships, to test what's going on

I dont know what is bad, i have the game with steam and just verified the whole thing, no problem, the ScS just dont work at all, i dont have the menu, cant buy it for some reason in the equipment dock and the ship who had it, doesnt have it anymore since i installed the last version.
Try running the script 'setup.scs' in the script editor (it will probably be near the bottom of the list of available scripts), that should (re)start the SCS scripts.
You should see some messages appear at the bottom of the screen once it starts.
There may be upto a 10 second delay before the script starts as it waits to allow the main TC/AP scripts to initialise before the SCS scripts do.
Let me know if that works and what (if any) messages are displayed.

Sorry to sux, not sure how to run a script... I started the game go in the script editor, i got a green message than i choosed the option script editor, setup.scs than type "R" ro run it i presume than i got "script input" Null on the first line and select ship or station on the second line whatever i use, nothing happen really, got arguments Null. Maybe im all wrong hehe.
Go into the Script Editor, scroll down to 'setup.scs' and press 'R', then press 'ENTER' for both the following pages.
Once the script has been 'launched', you will be returned to the list of available scripts.
You should then see the startup massages appear at the bottom of the screen. It may take up to 10 seconds for that though.
Ok i press R than im in a page named "script input" and i have 2 choice: "null" or "Select ship or station"(Select ship or station lead me to the entire map to choose a sector and a ship or station). Whatever i choose if i press enter, it will lead me to a page named "Execute command script" from there i cant choose anything and i see this text:
execute command script
setup.scs
Arguments
no arguments
from there, if i press enter, i go back to the list of script where i pressed "R" to run the script and nothing happen.
The MRS can sometimes become 'broken' if called too rapidly (like double-clicking), there is s fix included for this problem (or most others) though, to reset the MRS you can do the following:
Go in to the script editor and scroll down the list of scripts until you come to 'scs.bonus.scripts'.
Highlight that script and press 'R', then press 'ENTER' twice to skip the next two pages.
Once you get to the 'Cheat Scripts', select 'Fix Broken Repair Queue' (highlight it and press 'ENTER').
You will then be returned to the list of available scripts, from there, press 'ESC' until you return to the game.
If you go into the SCS Configuration menu and change the setting 'Enable Big-Ship Docking (claiming)' to 'Yes', any ships claimed will go to the nearest Carrier (if one is nearer than the nearest shipyard).
Ship that cannot dock there will still go to the nearest Shipyard unless you change the setting 'Enable Shipyard Docking (claiming)' to 'No'. If you do that, ships that cannot dock at the carrier will just stay where they are.
