Miracle! lancer reactor finally allow joystick discussion.

Lancer i suppose is a spin machine for the game rather than a true discussion platform, i was aghast at the delete fest going on more in one day than the history of this and the last forum put together .. which says a lot about this forum.

Was the post regards *Flibble* if so it does seem a bit of a jerk in the knee

They seem to have no problems with questioning posts... I didn't know that there as no cockpit what so ever! if that is true as they seem to be saying...

Uninspired designs graphics, no joysticks, no radar, no cockpits graphics, Bill gates what damage can X2 suffer?

Agree with the above comment, i also think it was a mistake for a moderator from another forum to post here complaining,about forum members complaining I think it was Bargib who replied to one of my post's with a comment * veiled attempts to flood the forum * Wtf .. flood the forum with what, i was baffled so could i reply, no the thread was locked did i post the topic ? no. ( needless to say it was a j/stick topic)

The next j/stick topic popped up half an hour later so i started to discuss albeit in rhyme the merits of a j/stick two other posters were replying in rhyme also regards merits of mouse control all good humour and not bad rhyme as well.... locked after about ten posts that was it i removed my details) another comment earlier mentioned 'denial' i would like to add 'defensive'they will never get rid of the question re j/stick until the game release

what was in the post rusti ? was it game bashing ? or is Barry gib overacting? i seen this in the Haegemonia and ORB forums where the moderators got into politics cause of a Haegemonia moderator bashing the ORB game on the ORB forum I saw and was reading the arguments as they were happening, i mean could you imagine Bgib bashing X2 on this forum ? If mr Flibble was a moderator i could understand Bgib complaining,otherwise i can't

Don't you just get sick of petty tyrants running game forums? I see it so often, nothing negative is permitted to be said about whatever is the apple of their eye. I like to think we're a bit more mature than that, that if people have reasoned reservations and concerns about X2, that we'd
listen and respect their opinions.

If a company launches a half-finished piece of junk, (insert name of any Activision game i've ever purchased) then it is perfectly legitimate for purchasers to complain on the board and highlight the short-comings so that others have the information when they are considering a purchase.

I'm pretty certain there were pretty loud howls at the poor state XT was in on first release (please Egosoft, don't release X2 until it's been tested extensively and the bugs squashed) but Egosoft did not censor posts and we did not abuse dissatisfied customers. And unlike Activision, they actually patched and patched until it reached its current pinnacle of excellence.

Any bets on the attitude MS will take once Freelancer is on the shelves and the bugs are crawling?

No pun intended, but I can't see the hole.

This particular forum has been about for about 3 months max. A few weeks. He didn't say comunity. So the way I read it, was that he was saying that the FL boards have been around for about 3 years. Witch I don't doubt. Where he is saying in my eyes, again no pun, that this forum has only been hear for a few weeks. This particular forum, as in the ES forum yes. This comunity in it's various forms, no.
