The basic idea would be to just patch the relevant RRF scripts to call either the the CWP Lib.CWP.EquipShip or EES Lib.EES.EquipShip instead of the hard coded equipment spawning MCSI command(s).

Personally, I am not bothered either way but if there is enough community support for the idea then I am happy to commit the time and effort to it.

to be honest the simple way (now i have access to my scripts) is to edit plugin.rrf.stock.m8

that does all rrf ship missiles, just edit the number of missiles to ones choosing

when i am doing Aldrin plot, the RRF script ran on a mission critical ship (the Yokohama that needs to go near the prison ship) and the plot just stuck there forever. so maybe adding plot protection feature is needed.

I thought about it a very long time ago and decided against it, there were simply too many different plot objects to consider, especially as i've never gone near an x plotline since XR.

I wouldn't have known where to start

I got a question and looked through the forums didnt find my problem so here goes.

The invasions are happening perfect, but no on ever shows up to defend. Every system invaded is taken over. When i get the message that someone is invading another system i go to it and the defending party never shows up its just me.

Btw when i first started the game it was working fine i saw defending forces everywhere. I do not have any other ai scrips going just the usual cmod rff and srm

Is this mod compatible with Cmod? I installed RRF last week and it ran fine, but I installed Cmod today, and now the game always crashes after a few minutes in. Are RRF and Cmod compatible with each other?

RRF is not a mod, its a Script. CMOD is a mod, right. CMOD "only" alters the Laser data (TLasers.txt...). It is compatible.
If it crashes every minute, is this every time at the same time? Cause if it is then it should be a RRF-only problem.

No, it doesnt happen at the same time. Sometimes after 1-2 minutes, sometimes after 5-8 minutes. 8 minutes was the longest time without freeze with Cmod installed. I have no problems with RRF alone.

Maybe in a special situation, for example in fights?

Well if i put my sherlock holmes hat on that means YOU have a conflict with the two mods and therefore the question is rhetorical ;)



No idea how to fix that as it's not an issue that i remember popping up before so therefore your options are

a) remove rrf
b) remove cmod
c) reinstall both, fiddle about as helplessly as a teenage boy trying to sneak his hands down his girlfriends pants and hope that fixes it

Hey LV quick question,

I was trying to set up a start scenario using the cheat scripts where I do the Paranid plot but with a useless m5 as start ship. Once I created it a terran M4 is spawned who attacks it and then a whole terran fleet jumps in and wollups me. I noticed that in the previous pages that some other people had a similar problem but I couldnt find a solution.... As I have just started the game I sorta think that the terrans really have no business swatting a paranid m5 I just created....

Where have I gone wrong? In the previous pages someone said it was something to do with very low terran rank. As I am merely a Terran Revolutionary in split space - I dont think this is the problem.

Edit: Merely ejecting from the ship has the same effect. Im in Patriarch conclusion 1 or so sectors away from my start. I jump out and a second later I have a terran fleet after me...

I got exacly same problem, was tring to claim bailed Mako and every time i even try to leave the ship going out to space, Mjollnir spawn and aim my nearest ship. If i retalite being still in space, Terran fleet will jump in and level all my ships, including me later on. Still if i do not claim ship only get aboard to my previous one Mjollnir will just vanish. Funny i manage to get Scate Prototype in the same sector just claiming it and sending my old ship using jump to other sector still i had to escape Terran fleet. Now any time ill take my both ships togethere or try to leave to space suite situation repeats. Terrans are just hunting me for no understandable reason any time im out of my ship, or i have more then one ship (im on) in same sactor. WTH is going on????

My ship is ownerless Blastclow P whitch im using as main till i get some coin. Ive started with poisoned paranid game start, then on may way to borron space took Blasclow and face some bailed ship on same borron sector where ownerless Scate P is. Any time im out of ship, Mjollnir spawn with terran fleet jumped in after i try to defend my self (if im out, or in other ship then Blastclow P). This is hapenning on any sector.

EDIT

Ive disabled RFF for now. It was like > im out of ship> spawn > im in again> despawn > im out > spawn .......

And on Queen's Retribution ive faced a bit of shock when entered a sector with close to 300 different borron fighters, preparing for samething. I wasnt brave enough to engage SETA in there .... :)

Hah. I eventually found the "detailed changelog" for 2.2 on page 57... I would have asked for it to be added to the original post, but... I think I can see why you didn't bother.

Is this still being actively developed btw? Or are you just fixing any bugs that remain to be found?

Love your mods/scripts.

Sadly I have a problem with RRF. My game started getting very slow after installing your scripts among a couple others (maurader shipyard, station builder, nothing else). I was able to identify this script exactly as I took turns disabling them all.

Eventually I read the instructions (do'h) after finding Pontifex's Seclusion full of capital ships and hundreds of others (8 Ody's etc, took a screenshot if required). I then ran the uninstaller/cleanup script within the RRF menu but sadly they are still there.

I am assuming that the battles were getting so big and bad that my computer just couldn't cope as after a while of getting slower the freezes started. Sometimes I couldnt play for longer than 5 minutes.

Is there anything that can be done with this issue?
