Edit: Anyone know what time this press conference is at? Just so im not distracted loading this website all day in work
According FedCon programm, the first presentaion of game is from 15:00 till 15:15. Time should be German time, so timezone is +2 hours so it is 13:00 till 13:15 UTC. You can chekc what is the time inGermany (City Berlin ) by using this http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=37
By other words we must wait 2:05 till start.
But I'm afraid that on conference they will show the trailer twice and 13 minutes will be used for voice presentation and Q&A - so no new video will be present.
But stop speculate now and wait 2 hours ... it is not too much

And it is too similar to Eve Online, that's also not good. (: very similar gates, ships, stations, graphics, etc...)
Light =/= Sound, bro.
You're confusing either Light and Sound or space/vacuum and black holes.
I believe he's referring to backscatter - reflection from suspended dust particles that enable you to see the beam of a spotlight from the side, or to see shadows cast volumetrically from an object through 'empty' space. He's quite correct in that those effects are not present in a pure vacuum.
To be fair, though, the universe of that clip is clearly within a dust field or nebula. Any nebula that dense, though, is going to coalesce fairly quickly, but that's 'quickly' on astronomical scales - humans and the like can evolve from pond scum and ascend or become extinct in that length of time.
Well, Today is the day, and the Time is now (Ithink)
I am hoping for some more teasing... (Good for 50 moore forum pages)
I fear i will be a bit distracted today...

No.
We want gorgeous graphics with gorgeous gameplay and with gorgeous developers support. And with gorgeous mods ofcourse
I highly disagree on the graphics debate of games. People only think of graphics at a"technical" stand point. As in frames per second, polygon counts, texture resolutions, etc...
IMHO, graphics are part of the ART of a game. Minecraft has good graphics, its a game about building things with blocks, it has blocky pixely classical graphics, so it fits and adds to the "artistic style" of the game.
X-Rebirth looks amazing from a technical stand point! But lets not judge graphics based off of that, there's more too it. Just like story and gameplay, graphics and sound are extremely IMPORTANT. Games that have "good" graphics have graphics that immerse you into the experience. Good music and sound help create mood and pull you further into that atmosphere.
Gameplay is obviously the most important part of a game. But what action movie is good based solely upon its action scenes? It has to have good acting, dialogue, and a plot you can follow that makes sense.
***Besides that, I don't have a problem with how X-Rebirth looks, although I do miss separate smaller stations. I hope that maybe what they showed us are connected stations. And maybe over time stations in game migrate to form collective communities. Maybe even your stations can combine with NPC stations!

Graphics CAN be important. Enduring games like NetHack, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Dwarf Fortress and every MUD and MUSH in existence rather comprehensively put to rest that graphics are necessary in any way for a game to be good.
I do agree with you however, that graphics can be a another good way to differentiate your game and create a unique atmosphere.

Well go to Steam and download a Demo, burn it to a CD/DVD and there you go, all you need now is a road downhill

Then delete the download section under X Rebirth
Btw when a demo will be there and I'll see a topic with bench results (terran Conflict had one) ,my result will be in miles pe hour not in frames per second because I'll test it downhill
