has everybody with the 3.2 instead of 3.4 problem installed the ego update 3.1 or not. aprently with only 3.0 it'll show 3.2 instead of 3.4. the 3.1 ego files should go till 13 cat/dat, so mgm reaches till 19 cat/dat. if the ego files only reach 12 cat/dat, that you don't have the 3.1 update installed...

general question :
the three races you used in this mod, Neutral, Alliance and Federation :
can they be made enemy to you? I tried already to give the neutral race
-5000 points with the cheat package but at least the neutral race kept neutral to me and i'm not sure the Alliance and the Federation's relations towards player can be influenced either.

at the far edges of the universe
if you really wanna know try scorps map, in the end you need some kind of map anyways since this universe got sooo big. Warning, scorp's map seems to only work early in the game.. later on it gets unworkable (at least in my game). What i did is used scorps map early on in my game and made a backup of the logfile it generates before it gets corrupted later on in the game. That way you at least have a good universe map.
to OP : i narrowed down the FPS problems with the director file of the BSG (the one with the highest kb .. 119kb or something). So far i could tell it doesnt get started till yr rank with terran is at least rank 8 so i decided to remove that specific file from the directormap untill i'm ready to do that mission. Dramatic increase in framerates as result...

Hiya!
Thanks for a great mod, but I notice the Star Trek ships don't have trekkian weapons. Am I doing something wrong or do they just not exist? If they don't exist, I do have a couple handy that I've been working on, but I need a bit of help ironing out a few annoying bugs/glitches.

is there some whay to put the downloads on this site . those new modles are taking 3+ hours to download?

What is this ship?

I found this ship from the files of this mod.
The ship just has a few problems since there's a few textures missing.
I wonder if anyone could point me to the original download or similiar since I've been unable to find anything about that ship.

no major changes to 3.0
the only changes are scripts, meaning the general behavior of the AI and rare crashes. gameplay and most things stay the same. a few new ships added and some station and docking changes. the most notable change is that you can't buy M2 and M1 ships anymore. you have to board them, buy them from some pirate ship yards or produce them yourself.
that should be it, i think... haven't played it for a while
