Glad i could bring you a little laugh.

But I really do like your DiD. You have a particullarly interesting way of writing.

And no I don't think I could tell you what that is, it just kept me reading.

Keep going! :D

The Planning Phase

Nothing's happened yet as such: I've been busy planning the resource complexes using a specialised calculator. The yields of some of the Yaki sectors are less than promising upon closer inspection, so I've decided to set up elsewhere for mineral production and suchlike. Also, I've planned out a complex for Aldrin, to produce that obscene amount of Aldrin Ore.

Here the complexes are:

http://tinyurl.com/34lnv4r This one's in Savage Spur, producing Space fuel for the Yaki. It also has considerable amounts of scope for expansion.

http://tinyurl.com/2aluosu In Ocracoke's Storm, this one produces ore and microchips, which apparently sell really well.

http://tinyurl.com/2wjo4p7 In the Unknown Sector I have already claimed, this one outputs Ore and microchips, with scope for expanding and repurposing to weaponry.

http://tinyurl.com/29snax9 In the Unknown sector near Zyarth's Dominion, this small plex builds microchips. With some importing of energy, it could be repurposed to ore or suchlike.

http://tinyurl.com/356p84u In the UK sector South of Menelaus' Oasis, this complex outputs ore and microchips, with some space for expansion into pretty much anything.

And now for the biggie...

http://tinyurl.com/2vjcdy3 In Aldrin, this massive food and mineral plex puts out 20,000 units of ore per hour and has huge BoFu surplus, enabling expansion into Boron tech. Its power and silicon supply could need increasing if it is expanded.

Sorry I've been away for a while. I'm still not done even finishing one complex, and am suffering a dilemma: My current gaming (yeah right.) rig is on its last legs. I've got my saves up to now on a memory stick in case it does decide to die, but I'm dubious as to whether it'd be worthwhile to actually do anything yet...

Anyway, I'll give it a go and if my computer explodes then I'll have to do it all again. How fun.

That Clichéd Phrase
The phrase in this case being the 'good news, bad news' thing.
Good news? I've got the microchip complex near Zyarth's Dominion built, running and producing at a decent clip completely autonomously as hoped. Also, I've offset the cost by doing missions for obscene quantities of cash by duping mission givers. More on that later. Still with the good news, I've delivered the batch of computer components to Mahi Ma on the HUB (aka. Buccaneer's Refuge) and am well on the way towards the 500 microchips he wants now.

The bad news?
I've pretty much lost confidence in my fighting capabilities. I came <-> this close to dying during a routine Xenon Invasion after a nasty run in with a few Qs, which I should have been able to take on effortlessly. Seriously, it's not a matter of wafer thin shielding just about separating my hull from enemy lasers, it's a matter of 10% hull integrity by the time the jumpdrive engages. It was in Black hole sun, and it wasn't even that many Xenon, just a few Ps, some inconsequential fighters and two Qs. But they royally kicked my arse. Of course, once I'd recharged my shields and gained some distance I shredded them, but it was truly terrifying to think I nearly killed the few beings willing to assist me onboard the Stalker, not to mention myself, through sheer incompetence on my behalf. But enough of that. I'll recount that battle and all the others now. Maybe it'll help calm my nerves...

Black Hole Sun had been torn asunder already be repeated batterings from the neighbouring Xenon. All that was left in sight was the local military outpost, offering missions to hold back the mechanical menace. So, ever in pursuit of profit as my old boss would have, I took the mission, considering it easy money as they so often were. Not so. In addition to the small attack group already present, I could spot a reinforcement movement entering the system. Since the original ones were closer, I attacked them first. And what a hash I made of that attack.

My first mistake, upon reflection, was to ignore the Xenon corvettes protecting the bigger battleships. They certainly contributed to the downfall of my pride. And maybe my fighting style - more suited to the fighters I had piloted for most of my life - also lead to the near destruction of my ship: An overreliance on my subpar main weapon array meant that my turrets could not bear easily on the Q I targeted. In turn, this meant the other Xenon could easily attack me. So as I floundered trying to draw a bead on my target, my shield counter ticked down. I think it was a hammerhead missile, fired at close range by a P, that caused me to panic: My shields were at a low but not dire 30%, but that missile, detonated too close to me by my own missile defence, obliterated them and my hull began taking hits. I jumped within the sector and escaped the furball with that 10% hull integrity.

My speed now a glacially slow 27m/s, I waited for my shields to recharge and a sort of trance overtook me as the Xenon reappeared on my gravidar. Demanding all my overtaxed engines could offer, I limped towards the enemy battlegroup, all reason thrown to the winds. Maybe it was - ironically - my damaged engines which saved me from final death, since the closing time between I and my foes was increased: allowing me to pick some off before we met. All I remember of that fight was that the last to fall, a Q, was dispatched by smashing it with the frontal spikes of the Shrike. I was paid, but not enough to cover the repair bill. It may have been cheaper to simply sell the hull of the Shrike and transfer all the equipment over to a brand new hull, but that would be too much hassle. I needed a break. What better than a Split Dragon for cruising the Universe, hm?

So I jumped to Family Njy, bought a Dragon, outfitted it and transferred. The view from the cockpit was a nice change, and the responsiveness after so long in a frigate was divine. But, being who I am, I decided to take a station defence mission in the sector. Fun ensued: the Pirates who arrived brought several Carrack frigates, and it was so refreshing to weave between volleys of shots, picking off fighters and corvettes with my HEPTs. I was not unduly worried about the frigates: There was a large destroyer group guarding the local shipyard and they were moving over to help out. Soon later the metaphorical dust had settled and I hadn't even taken a scratch. I set out to just cruise the sectors, taking non combat missions now: not everyone can provide several destroyers to back me up! Some build and taxi missions later, I feel ready to go back to the Shrike. On a whim, I jump to Getsu Fune, looking for missions. It was the best decision I've ever made with relation to my bank account...

I'll recount the details at a later date but basically, one person was offering a mission to repel a Xenon invasion. Another was asking me to patrol the sector for a poor payout. Now normally when I'm asked to patrol, all hell breaks loose and enemy targets jump in from every direction, and the payout sucks, but combine that with an invasion mission where there're not that many enemies but there are ridiculously huge payouts and you have mucho spondoolies. About 49 million of them actually, after around 80 enemies popped. Add to that the 5 million from the patrol and I've nearly paid off the cost of an entire complex in one (well, two) mission(s).

Property: Same as before, +Dragon and microchip complex (1x XL SPP, 5x L Bogas facts, 4x L BoFu labs, 3x L Silicon mines, 3x L Crystal fabs, 3x chip plants. That's all I think. :S )
Oh yeah, I also bought an Elephant to ferry CCKs to my plex. It made construction way less painful than it would have been.

No pictures because I'm typing this on my laptop: the internet on my gaming computer (which is old and creaky anyway) is not exactly stable, but my screenies are on there. I may transfer them later and put in a post with all the shots up to now from the last time I posted pictures, captioned to show what they refer to.

Are you still looking for people to join your growing fleet? I happen to have a great deal of combat experience as well as logistic, tactical, and diplomatic experience. I helped keep the peace between the Argon and Paranid, aided the Boron against the Split (who are my hated enemies), helped the Teladi with some problems with several other races, and earned respect of the Terrans because of the massive number of Xenon I helped defeat, earning the respect of all of them. I've also taken out several Pirate Centaurs in one battle with a single Eclipse armed with phased repeater guns, and I've taken out M7s with a Heavy Centaur equiped the same way. Then I wiped out two Xenon fleets with a single Minotaur and personally led many boarding operations out of boredom. Most of my tactical experience came from when I was leading a small, but highly skilled detachment in the Argon fleet before several other fleet officers tricked the leaders of the Federation I was going to betray them, joined the Split and Yaki, and tried to eliminate me while being transported to Argon Prime from Omnicron Lyrae. Luckily for me, the Terrans, Boron, Teladi and Paranid somehow put their differences aside long enough to get me out of there, but my personally funded fleet (including my Colossus-class flagship and its full compliment of Eclipse-class fighters) was taken and dismantled by the Argon Federation. I've spent a great deal of time planning my revenge while traveling around to avoid being located by the Split or Argon military. I'm at home flying most ships, but my true strength is in commanding capital ships or fleets, as well as leading boarding operations, providing tactical advice, and managing fleet logistics. Of course, I enforce strict discipline in the crews of ships (and tend to spend quite some time plotting my revenge  ).

Well, with my fleet you'll certainly get your revenge on the Argon: I plan to ditch them once I've got the rewards for 'helping' them. They'll pay for letting the Yaki get hold of that Carrack. As for ships, recent developments in my ship repertoire means you'll have a few options:

Firstly, you can have an active combat job flying one of the Skate fighters I use for interception duty onboard the Stalker. You'll be flying a lot, and usually I'll be with you for extra support either in the Shrike or the Skate Proto.

Secondly, you could persuade me to get the Lusca, Peaceful Resolution back up and running, and I could give you that to use as a jump-in strike craft. You won't be needed as often with that, but some heavy fire support is a useful thing at times.

Finally, and most interestingly, you could helm my new Phoenix-class destroyer, as yet unnamed, and provide a centrepiece for the fleet. You'll spend most of your time in dock, as the Phoenix is too unwieldy to have in every battle, and it can be quite vulnerable to massed battleship attacks. Still, it's probably going to be the toughest ship in any battle situation it's involved in.

Alternatively, you can suggest a ship you'd like to fly as long as it costs less than 40Mcr to buy and arm/upgrade.

Also, you, as the first person to explicitly offer your services onboard a ship, can have the honour of (re)naming the craft you choose.

I look forward to your reply.

I think I'll pilot one of the Skate-class fighters for now, but if you don't use them, I can provide tactical advice. I think that with the current situation, Vengance would be a good name for the fighter. If we're not in combat, I'll ensure that the ship and crew are ready for battle at any time, or I'll talk about tactics I've seen or used if desired. Also, I would just like to make a correction: I don't want revenge on the Federation in general, just the power hungry officers who wanted to eliminate me , which MIGHT include the captain of the Argon One, but I can't remember. I'm still trying to understand why they tried to get rid of me, but they probably divided command of the ships in my fleet, so it should be interesting to see if we find any of them. I'm also hoping to teach the Split a lesson (and the Yaki, if possible) .

Right, I'll get the Skate ready for you. The Skate wing will see quite a lot of use in missions for hunting down fleeing fighters, so you won't be idle much. The Split I'd rather stay on at least cordial terms with, but if they ram me with one of their frigates again (not story related, it just happened ingame  ) I may reconsider. As for the Yaki, I'd like to first feed their IBL forges and get a stockpile, but revenge would be pretty sweet with them too. That said, I would then have no use for the complexes I have planned for their sectors. I don't know what I'd do with them.

Certain Argon officers? Well, we could start with the Omicron Lyrae officials who double-crossed me. After that, I don't know where we could look.

I far as I know, there were three commanders who tried to get rid of me: the first in Omnicron Lyrae, the second was in Argon Prime and was on good terms with the Split, and the third was probably in Argon sector M148 and spent a great deal of time with the pirate clans that wanted me removed. The third one probably died in your attack on their research stations, so he shouldn't be a problem. As for the Yaki.... I'd recomend waiting until you have a headquarters set up and then eliminate them. Right now I think that instead of plotting my revenge, I'll get used to the Skate's preformance so I don't go into battle with a fighter I'm not used to (I've lost about 7 fighter pilots because they didn't do that and I'm not making that mistake  )

It seems you'll settle well. We'll be doing more interesting things soon, I promise - I know most of the stuff recently has been station planning, missions and stuff but I'll try and do something to break the monotony, like finish my work with Operation Final Fury at long last, then try and find a lead on this old message I have in my log, relating to a lost Colossus of the Argon's. Could be a carrier in it for us, or at least something good.

With Operation Final Fury, I'd recommend building up the fleet first before finishing it. I sent in my flagship, its compliment of 60 Eclipse fighters, and a Titan, but STILL almost got killed at least twice in the final mission  (even though my Colossus had enough weapons to switch ALL its turrets between anti-fighter and anti-capital weapons systems), so it might be difficult with the current fleet. When I look back at the mission, I should probably have brought my Minotaur for "removing" the large fleet I had to face. It would have been fun to see that  .

I hear the Phoenix can more or less ignore Khaak fighter ships, and with extensive use of the haxdrive ( ), I can stay well away from the battleships.

Anyway, at very, very long last, another chapter will be typed by me, right now, and no excuses. It's been too long!

So, What Happened?

I said I'd recount the XI/patrol combo, but on reflection, it was pretty boring: most of it was travelling between groups of Xenon as they point-jumped in. Nothing special, and I hammered plenty of Qs and even a couple of Ks. Getsu fune's fog does get on my wick eventually though, so I ended up jumping far from there, to the Scale Plate Green area, looking for more missions. There's not a lot available: a few low-key assassinations not even worth the effort, and some non-combat missions of little use to me. I leapfrog X347, because the Xenon have started zerg rushing me the moment I enter one of their sectors recently. You've got to hand it to them, they certainly learn. Eventually.

Now, what with my recent plans to carry on with Operation Final Fury, I reckon I could do with a bigger ship, and what did I say way back then? The first battleship I'd buy would be the Phoenix. And that it is. Of course, the new battleship comes fresh from the shipyard with absolutely no equipment by the paltry few lasers I can get from the Ianamus Zura EQ dock, a couple of Gauss cannons. I also order two Pelicans, not to be used until somewhat later as fleet support ships, on a hunch. An 8-fighter wing of beefy escorts for the Phoenix should do it some good when I go to fight something not using beam or insta-hit weapons. Perhaps Falcon Haulers, with their big shields and reasonable speed. Anyway, I get whatever ships I have lying around to collect battleship equipment from docks and factories around the universe, and look around myself for specific upgrades and such, like a docking computer, jumpdrive and transporter device. It's some time until I've gathered all the armaments the battleship needs, but by the time I'm done its loadout looks something like this:

Front, 8 slots.
8xPPC. It's the main battery. I need range from that

Right, 8 slots.
8xPPC. These would have been 4xGC and 4xIC if I could find enough, but I couldn't.

Left, 8 slots.
5xGC, 3xIC. Again, would have been a 4/4 split, but I couldn't find enough ICs.

Up, 4 slots.
3x ISR, 1x CIG. The Phoenix, with its colossal shielding, lacks flak mounts in its up/down turrets. These were the heaviest weapons I could put here.

Down, 4 slots.
2xISR. I ran out of stuff here.

Back, 4 slots.
4x FAA. The only turret other than the front which can use flak. Of course I put it here.

Full shielding, no missiles except 1000x mosquitos for missile defence.

Finally ready, the Phoenix's maiden voyage will be to troubled waters: I plan to strike at the X347 station, which I hadn't been able to kill with the Shrike before the fighters and constantly attacking Qs wore me down. I activate the jumpdrive and enter from th South side of the sector. Immediately I get the sudden influx of fighters as normal, along with 4 Qs, doing what they do best: gatehanging. The fighters barely scratch my shields as my turrets obliterate the Qs in seconds and I forge ahead into the sector when I get new contacts on the grav: four Ks and two Js have entered as a response force, and have set their courses to intercept me. I haul the bough around to face them, and destroy a J in seconds. The other J follows suit, but the Ks bunch together, making it a deathtrap to attack head on. I use the ship's strafe drive to get around the side of the group of Xenon destroyers, and try to pick one off from the edge of the group. This kind of works, but my shields take quite a battering before I can finish the enemy destroyer off.
Now, the fighters may not do much damage, but they certainly mess up my shield recharge, so I retreat for now, satisfied with the combat capabilities of my new destroyer. I'll come back for the station some time in the future. Upon my return to the Stalker, I find a message waiting for me from an ex-military Argon who expresses interest in joining my fleet. Finally, the advertisements paid off! He seems to have an agenda of his own, but at least he's smart enough to not wait until I found out: it actually coincides with a far-future plan I have to get back at the Omicron Lyrae authorities for taking away my old frigate. There are fragments of our conversation in this datalog, but they seem not to be in any real order. (Handwave ftw!)
Anyway, this individual - named Justin - has offered to fly one of the Skates in my interception wing onboard the Stalker, and to assist with tactical affairs should I need to do anything drastic, like attacking the Argon Federation in certain sectors. But that's not 'till later.

Funding: A surprising ~230Mcr. The Phoenix was offset by my chronic mission completion.

Property: Everything from before, +2x Pelican and 1x Phoenix. Also some more fighters and freighters bought second-hand and really needing selling. They likely never will be though.

It sounds like you don't trust me. Perhaps you should know that I havn't said everything about my goals yet (if I did, I could reveal something that I can't prove yet  ). All I can say is that more than my reputation in the Argon Military could be at risk because of these fleet officers..... I'll let you decide what that could mean for now, but if I get the proof I need, I'll reveal what I know. As for right now, I frequently get information from the Paranid, Boron, and Teladi about the locations of different fragments of my fleet (which are highly loyal and were ordered by me to follow the orders of other fleet officers). They will follow the orders of the fleet officers they were reassigned to until they recieve a specific message, then they will return to my command. Of course, this message can only be sent through a secure comm frequency, meaning that I need to find the ships first. Sadly, the information I recieve is often outdated and even when it's accurate, the ships are under heavy guard and just getting close enough to send the message is difficult. If I could just regain control of my flagship, then I wouldn't need to transmit the message to the others. Just know that I don't abandon anyone I offer my services to. I NEVER have and NEVER will, that much you can be certain about :)

Trust you? Of course I can't entirely trust you - you're an Argon military official who's just had his entire fleet confiscated by the people he worked for. Since you took up my application and I really need good pilots it would have been stupid to turn you away, but to completely lower my guard could be suicide. I assume you understand my reasons, and of course - with our reasonably similar aims at the moment - there's no point developing an enmity.

At least you won't make the mistakes I made when I lost my fleet. I might as well summarize WHY three Argon military officers tried to get rid of me, but perhaps explaining what was my duty before then. I was commander of the Argon military's vanguard on three different battlefronts with my primary base being Argon sector M148, and at least 6 other fleet officers reporting to me. My massive fleet, the Grand Armada as I called it, was divided between two secondary bases: one in Argon Prime and the other in Omicron Lyrae. The division in Argon Prime guarded the border between Argon and Paranid space (mainly assisting the Paranid during pirate attacks) and the sectors bordering Pirate sectors. The one in Omicron Lyrae defended nearby sectors from Xenon threats. Nothing could threaten the Argon Federation without me learning about it and crushing anyone who was going to attack. Some time ago, forces in my three bases reported lightly encripted communications between the bases that seemed to indicate a plan between officers to take control of the Federation. For the first time in its history, the entire Grand Armada was deployed to hunt down traitors within the Federation. Soon afterwards, the encryption became more complex, and I was forced to contact the Paranid, Boron, Teladi, and Terrans so we could pull our resources together to decript the messages. About 4 weeks before your raid on M148, the Terrans said they had discovered the code to decript the messages, so I took my entire fleet to Heretic's End and got the code from the Terrans. I was then informed of several unothorized research projects in M148 and took the fleet to Omicron Lyrae while the files were decoded. Along the way, we ran into an Argon fleet that opened fire on us without any communication. They didn't last long, but destroyed many of my ships. I immediately fid the partially decripted files in my quarters on the flagship of my fleet, which I called the Superior, in case something happened. When I reached Omicron Lyrae, events happened as I already said. Along the way, I found out who the traitors were, but also discovered that they were the people I would have to prove that I wasn't a traitor to. I realized that even if nothing happened along the way, I would still be doomed. But, as I said, the Paranid, Boron, Teladi, and Terrans joined forces and got me out of there. Sadly, I didn't have my fleet anymore, and I didn't have the proof I needed to expose the real traitors. 4 weeks passed, and I learn that a pirate clan raided M148 and stole weapons needed by the traitors. That's everything there is to it. I'm guessing you want to know WHY I revealed all this so quickly. It's because we both have something to gain from revealing these traitors. My desire to regain what's left of my fleet is obvious, but imagine how you could be rewarded for exposing these traitors. Think about that much before deciding if you want to help expose the traitors or just ignore it. Either way, a great deal would be gained by recovering the Superior  .

[OOC]Anyone who's watching this thread and willing to post, please offer your opinion on my spawning the 'Superior' upon completion of the raids on Argon space at some time in the future. Maybe have it heavily damaged or something. Also, *psst, Justin, what ship was/is the Superior?*[/OOC]

Now, you offering a reward sounds too much like you're trying to sweet talk me into this. As I say, I am perfectly prepared to assist you in both finding your traitors and - if possible - recovering the Superior. I have a feeling my Yaki overseers undoubtedly following my every move wouldn't be too displeased if I ended up causing damage to the Federation by assisting you, so the only problem is my reputation drop, which I'm willing to take after the double-crossing at Omicron Lyrae. Just having a good fighter pilot - or, if your command ship can be recovered - a battleship captain with great tactical skill is reward enough.

Er... Perhaps I forgot to say that the Superior is a carrier, not a destroyer. Still, it had enough weapons systems in its cargo bay to switch all its turrets between anti-fighter (cluster flak arrays and phased repeater guns) and anti-capital (photon pulse cannons and concussion impuse generators), not to mention that it internal design was meant more for comfort than with the regular Colossus designs. Larger bridge and advanced environmental simulator that could recreate anything from empty space to the intense conditions of Boron and Paranid ships for starters. It probably hasn't been fully repaired yet, but it would still be firece. With the Yaki I should probably remind you that they have some connection to the traitors and their plot, but even if we find the Superior and send it the message to return to my command, recovering your ship will still be top priority. Of course, if we recover the Superior first, we could probably just take it right into Yaki territory and demand the return of your Carrak if you wanted, or even call whatever is left of my fleet (probably 2 Titans, a Minotaur, and 5 Heavy Centaurs) and do the same thing. Most pirate clans that heard of my flagship ran if they even heard it could be joining the defense of a sector, but even the Yaki wouldn't dare oppose the few ships in my fleet that survived, even if they were badly damaged. With the reward I was talking about, your raid on M148 would probably be seen differently due to the fact that the weapons you stole would probably be used against the Federation, and that's not taking into account that you would be helping expose the traitors, so there's so much you could get as a reward from the federation for your actions. At the very least they would probably forget about your raid, but with so many new openings in the Argon Military for officers, you might just find yourself with more than a few offers from the military that put you in an excellent position to get revenge on the Yaki, not to mention that you can count on my support for just about anything afterwards, just like now.

The crew's been quiet since I offered to join. I don't know if I'm not welcome or the crew just doesn't like the idea of new members, but there's not much to do and it's making me anxious. Do they even talk any more or is everyone sleeping? If everyone IS asleep, then we're in trouble if we end up in a battle, so it would make this a bit more like a crew if someone talks.

The thing about the Yaki is that, frankly, no matter how much I'd like to put them where they belong, I'd rather not: they're my only possible source of IBLs, since all pirate fabs are now hostile (my Pirate contacts told me they can't keep my reputation in pirate circles up any longer, so my reputation in the lower circles of society has dropped somewhat), and will be a massive source of profit once I complex some of their sectors. Not to mention the fact that if I barge in with a well-known Argon battleship, backed up by its fleet and mine, there's a chance that my Carrack - along with its precious lasers - could be scuttled. I for one would rather that didn't happen. Thanks for the offer of support, and I'll help you get the Superior back, but this one calls for some tact, I think.

[OOC again]I think spawning 5 H.Centaurs, 2 Titans and a Minotaur ON TOP of a carrier would make me rather overpowered, don't you think? I'll say a definite no to that one.

Also, after reading my old DiD again, I've noticed that my writing quality in this DiD has been comparatively appaling. I must do better, and will: I think my greatest moments in the other one were when I went to war.[/OOC]

EDIT:  @ the previous post. I think that everyone who said they'd join up all that time ago have abandoned this thread, so basically all those characters are on indefinite shore leave until one of them says something, if ever. Some may have stopped posting altogether so...

*Looks through updates on events in Argon space transmitted by the Paranid* There never seems to be any good news when it comes to my old fleet.... It's hard for anyone to find out about the locations of the ships because the fleet was split apart. Then the Superior becomes extremely difficult to find. Now the Paranid say that the Split wiped out my fleet's scattered reminants so now the only ship that's left is the Superior, and from the last time I heard about it, the Xenon severely damaged it, but I don't have a clue where it is. Also, with the idea of attacking the Yaki with the Superior, there's more problems recovering my old flagship too early could cause. In order to ensure that these traitors wouldn't hunt me down, the Paranid used a transporter to get me off the shuttle I was in and destroyed it at the same time so it looked like their rescue failed and the only threat to the traitors' plans was gone. If we recover the Superior and try to use it to retrive your Carrak, it would alert the traitors that I'm still alive and they would do whatever they can to secure Argon Prime so we couldn't expose them. If we recover my flagship and try to expose the traitors before regaining your Carrak, the Yaki would become aware that I didn't handle things alone and probably destroy the Carrak. So the first goal would be to recover your Carrak, find the Superior, and then expose the traitors. With the issue of IBLs, I think you would find Cluster Flak Arrays at least as effective, but probably harder to come by. But right now it seems that the first goal i would be to find more crew members, mostly because you can't have a working destroyer with a crew of 2
