My Guiding Star Sector is a high security area and data transmissions about it are strictly forbidden.
All you need to know about this sector is what is waiting for you if you try to wander there

(Of course, to reach it, you'd have to deal with my first defense line in the Unkown Sector)

Welcome to Guiding Star

Did you make that complex in vanilla or did you use scripts?

Also i find terran stations to be a doddle for makin plexes, not like horrible argnu beef ranches

Making neat complexes is not hard.

First you need a reference point to start all your complexes from. Often a Jump gate will do. Or a nav sat that's been dropped close to where you want your complex if you're not building near a gate.

Then each tap (if you're quick enough) of the positioning keys moves the station ghost 50m

Thirdly use an advanced satellite in sector. On the station positioning screen pressing K will bring up the "Video" function of the AdvSat. You can then zoom in and out with home and end keys on a top down view of the sector (or side view by pressing insert) while placing your factory.

So with a those three things you can make some really tidy complexes.

These aren't too bad if you go verticle with them.

Its a small complex so I wouldn't call it a 'success' per se, it does the job that I want it to do.

Initially, it's hit & miss until you get the appropriate distance. After that it's a matter of using the math between the station coordinates, as well as noting the rotation used. That particular station is built South to North on precision vertical & horizontal axis. Here's a link to the spreadsheet I created so that I only need to input the 1st station drop coordinates and all the other station coordinates are math based against the last station.

Take note of the "stacks" of each group, and you can make single stacks of Crystals or Microchips with a slight math adjustment, noting that those will need energy supplied vs. building the whole 40x chip-plex.
