
[Discussion] X3TC+AP Bonus Package

If not as a patch - how about have the Bonus Pack act as a free DLC on steam.
The Total War games use DLCs a lot, including some free ones that are automatically downloaded - would definitely make things that 1 step easier; considering that's one of the main features of Steam (allows PC gamers the same lack of hassle as console gamers - for updating, buying and getting extras).
Plus, allows players to choose whether or not to have it (or at least have the ability to remove it - unlike a patch on Steam).

These might be extremely nooby questions so plz i have mercy when i ask them lol. 1) in the internal commodity logistics section when i go to set the supply and consumer for some reason it wont let me set any consumers but it does let me set my product. BTW my product is silicon wafers and both my mercury's are apprentice level. 2) When supplying my silicon factory with energy cells, how do i get my CAGS to use their jumpdrive after buying the energy cells. It seems like once they buy the energy cells they dont use them for anything else but to resupply. 3) where do i go to get training for my traders? Thanks in advance.

You would be better of by asking script-specific questions in the threads of those scripts. Anyway,
1. No idea. I've seen similar questions, but no answers. You probably do have to set the product first anyway.
2. CAG pilot level "Trader" required for jumping. Says so in Readme and thread.
3. Nowhere. When the pilot has enough accumulated flight-time and is docked, it should level up. Possibly docked at homebase.

Personally (and that is just me an no recommendation), I would uninstall the old pack, add the 2.7 patch and then install the new pack before starting the game. That assumes vanilla game installation, but then again anyone with non-vanilla would surely use the unsigned versions anyway.

Hey guys. Pretty sure this in the right place.
Couple of questions:
1) Will installing the bonus pack stuff break any saved games I already have and force me to start again to use the new content?
2) You guys keep talking about the modified tag or something or other with the steam version. I have the steam version so I'd like to try and avoid this problem but there's a bit too much technical jargen in what you're saying for me to actually understand what you're talking about. Could I get a layman's explanation of the problem please.

Installed xtc and the newest patch 2.7.1 and the newest bonus package
but when I start a new game or load a old one I get messages about all the scripts:
example:
For this version of CAG you have to have version 2.5 installed
and so 5 messages for all of the scripts in the bonus package except the turbo boost???? and all of them are not in the game except the turbo boost
I have version 2.7.1 and why bonus package dont work???
