Clearly, for a ship this grandiose, we need to abandon the usual puns and give it a name that pays homage not only to its origins, but to how we acquired it.

Hence, I recommend we name it The Longboat.

Okay, maybe a little pun.

"Steve's Tyranny"

Good job.
After reading the posts for the past few weeks made me want to give the Tyr a shot, too. Got mine last night, but it's a pain to configure which weapons to load given the limited cargo space. But yeah, well done!

"The Good Apprentice," perhaps? A reference to, "Poor is the apprentice who does not exceed the master."

How about
"Steve's Tyriumph"
We are all explorers of the deepest reaches of space.
We don't just watch space on our monitors and listen to the sounds in it:
We, all of us, each and every one of us, owns, to a man, as many operational Space Shuttles as NASA does.
Yes, we're all that awesome. Give yourself a hug.

It's nice, but what he really needed out of that was PSP. SSC are good, but not too hard to get compared to PSP, and really, what's the point of having a Tyr without anti-capital ship weapons?

(EDIT: Oh, and he didn't lose any Marines because he went on that mission personally, and Steve is a Hollywood action hero. I bet he went in there with a pistol in each hand and at the end, kicked the Terran captain out of an airlock after an epic fight while saying something like, "Captain, you're dismissed." or "I think you could use a little space.")

If not Tyrannosaurus, I like Tyranny and Tyrant.

But "Bob" might be more fun!

Flee Flee. everyone, Steve the Pirate is coming in his fearsome ship "Bob"!

I go with Full Circle also, Bob! reminds me of Black Adder to much, anyway this is all a bit premature. NS still has to get the thing out of Terran space and we all no what happened last time he was on the bridge of a Terran Capital ship ...

White wall - Tyre D'oh! [Slaps face]

Masrock

PS what's the hull damage to the Tyr?

PPS Second thoughts -"low Profile" would be better than White wall in the current environment.

Nah..!
Steve put the Tyr's Captain in one of the empty boarding pods and manually sent it to the next Terran station saying "Your're fired".

Someone's got to tell the tale ;)

Considering the ease of taking the Tyr, I'd suggest naming it "Tyr'd".
