No, AFAIK, but you might be able to recreate some of your empire in new XTM game with SymTec's X3-X3-Converter.

There are two XTM missions when completed you get permission to buy an MO - the Leviathan Rescue Mission: Walkthrough (Contains spoilers) and Paranid M0 Mission (Achilles Sword): Walkthrough (Contains spoilers) - from the Argon and Paranid Governments as a reward. Personally I perfer cash.

xtm issue

i have a small issue with xtm. apparently the new ships that should be labeled m7 or m8 are wrongly featured as m1's or m2's. it is confusing and i was wondering if there was a fix out there.

Merged with XTM tech thread.
I don't know for sure but I expect that because they can't add real new classes, they needed to borrow the M2 and M1 classes. A side effect is the class ingame being seen as M2 and M1 in some areas.

Ello i was wondering if i can reverse engineer anything other than just ships and how i would go about doing that. Because i can seem to find a Gama PPC forge for sale ne where among other items like the porter or the jump drive.

just wondering how much power does an Otas Medium Shield pack? because i have not yet seen a small or large version, and the pirate nova using one of these and two 25's is harder to kill than the marauder it is escorting

Some questions regarding the use of this mod:

First off, is this fully compatible with CLS from the X3 bonus pack? I set up my CLS ships in the same way that always worked for me in the original game (ie; X3, 2.5, bonus pack), and they just go straight to "Idle" and seem not to want to do the commodity transferring thing...

Secondly, how does one purchase Terran stations? I can't seem to get my Elephant to conventionally dock at the shipyard in Earth, pressing "u" has no result, accessing the dock function from the "information" menu has no effect. I can dock with a docking computer, but I can then not buy anything, and undocking spawns my ship abot 10-20k away from the shipyard.

Finally, how does one progress with the Sohnen missions after doing the "go there, get that" bit? I can dock at the Dyson Sphere, but there are no comms. Pressing the extended comms hotkey has no effect (if I should be in comms range (8km)...that's inside the spinny death bit...)?

Xtended Comm works at 35km with the Dyson Sphere.

Bullet speed editting crash

I've been attempting to alter the projectile speed of the heavy weapons like the PPC in the X-tended mod (0.7.5), but every time I make the changes and save the mod, X-3 crashes on me if I try to start a new game. I've even limited it to one change and the problem still persists.

Can anyone shed some light on this please? Thanks.

EDIT: Whoops, this is for X-3 reunion, not TC. Can a mod please move it to the right forum?

hi all.. I want do add some sectors from the xtended mod without the other mod features and ships. Does anyone know how to do that?
I found some files called nebula in the main dat file but i don t know what files i have to mantain and what to delete.
Need help

FYI - The Download link on page one is broken. 404.

Also, the XTM RAR file seems to be gone or stuck or corrupt, from the main XTM download page. Perhaps a server needs a re-boot after the holidays?

I need to install XTM on this machine at work but I am stuck. :lol:

Hey,
Am still struggling to get XTM installed. Managed to install XScripts installer, XTM Scripts and 7zip, but when I download XTM .7a mod I get a message from 7zip saying Incorrect command line. Any suggestions?

Very few NPC ships

Hi all,

I,m not sure if this an XTM issue (which I use) or X3R, but as my game progresses, I seem to have fewer and fewer NPC ships in my game. Consequently, the economy is slowly, but surely, grinding to a halt as there are countless factories with full stocks of products, but no one buying them. So obviously, they then do not require resources.
One thing I have noticed is a mass of TS ships constantly orbiting one station in a couple of random sectors. These stations always have a number of [Race] Convoy Escorts docked (M6 ships).
For instance in Elena,s Fortune there were approx 20 twenty food transporters of various races orbiting a Cahoona bakery that had 4 Teladi M6,s docked. I spawned a Khaak Destroyer on top of the station to destroy the ships and the station in the hope that the GOD would respawn them and reset the job files for them, but so far this doesn, t seem to have happened.

I will also post this on the XTM website, as it may not be X3R related, but I would appreciate any thoughts on how to resolve this without a restart.

That is most definitely not a vanilla issue. It's possible your X3R install got messed up something fierce and that caused it but more likely is that something to do with the order in which you installed your scripts and mods. I believe XTM is usually specific about how you go about adding scripts to an XTM modded game but as I don't use the mod I couldn't tell you. You'll probably have more luck with them than here though, sorry :(

Maybe I should have asked this in XTM S&M forum, perhaps a mod would be kind enough to shift it?
