Did stories always make me want to go back to the game and try new starts and new stuff :)

I read NS stories, i love the immersion, it almost feels like a novel, but i have to admit i cant possibly hope to do the stuff that guy does (capturing, using missiles, etc).

Ive read parts of other stories, but im interested up to the point when they go capturing and shooting, simply because its not my playstyle.

From most i learn a lot, and give me ideas to new starts. For exmaple the argon nephew one is why i started my new merchant start.

Keep writing :) try different story perhaps.

Try to stray from the standard path.

At first I was going to put immoral, but that doesn't work very well...

Immoral split M3 pilots. Meh, they burn Spaceflies, what can I say.

Ooh! If we're naming in japanese now, can my H.Osprey be named 'Ikiteiru'? Roughly translating as 'alive'. Better than dead, yup. I'd like to stay that way too.

Well, Japanese is meant to be the X trade language, so why not guys! This is what I love, our little community!

All ships must now be given owner names, and they must be good!

Anyway, I'm going to take a break from complex building soon and buy an M2, 'cos I luv' 'em! :P

Which M2 should I go for? Not the Osaka, way to powerful, although not expensive, but hard to arm. Not a Boreas, or an Akuma. First is too ownage, second too... boring, rubbish and ugly. I was thinking a Ray, sticking with my Boron theme? Or a Brigantine, because they look so amazing! I've never had an Odyseus, mind you, and I sure do like the looks of the PSGs... Then we can ruin our 'Nid rep. :lol:

I like the Osaka... But I agree that it's rather powerful, so... yeah, the Ray sounds good- nice cargobay for big gunz like the ICs and ammo for them Gauss, small-but-adequate weapons generator. Only problem is a tendency to eat more than its fair share of cannon fire in my experience.

Now the Oddy, there's a stylish destroyer! PSGs are good, and the ship has the second or third biggest laser generator in the Commonwealth. Also good.

So, your choice, but the Ray seems more fitting really. Just don't do what I did and lose ~20% of its hull an hour after its purchase! :headbang:

I've used the ray before very effectively, but it does have a larger than nice profile...


Let's count that out.

Time to compare the Brig and Oddy. 8)

EDIT: I've gone for the best one, bit costly though... :lol:

Fair enough. The up/down profile of the Odysseus is a little large, but all in all a perfectly capable destroyer. The ~105Mcr pricetag is more than a little bit of a rip-off, but they're Paranid. It's to be expected. No such qualms about the overpowered-ness of the Osaka for me though- after everything else is out of the way in my DiD, that's going to be my next purchase. Then, Xenon watch out!
