Hi,
I installed last night your script, after jumping to the new sector my computer locked up... after some check I found that al.khaak.main was executing the plugin.khaakstart.* (I dont remember the name now) script continuously.

Looks like your script is allways starting up, that explains why some people is hanging up after some time as more and more ships are spawned.
My solution was to add a "if global variable lv.hk.main (or something like that, trying to remember names here) then set global variable and execute starting scripts
end
that on al.khaak.main

My guess is that you didnt set the "if plugin is enabled" conditions correctly.

do you mean that it is running as one instance which is what is intended (i just can't find the crash atm) or multiple are running in the global tasks?

Updated to 1.2

I have taken the Imperial Sledgehammer and beaten the code to death, i've run 15 tests using just xenon and khaak as the enemy race on different difficulty's and starts (there are many more variables possible though)

I have had no crashes as some code has been disabled and also the other enemy races meaning it's a choice between xenon and khaak for now i'm afraid.

please let me know if it will setup now :)

Hi LV.

First, thanks for the nice script !

I have a few questions : in the sectors supposed to belong to the enemies, I can find Boron and Split ships fighting against Xenons (my allies are Argon)
also, I can only see station debris except military bases where I can dock.

Is it normal ?

the engine creates normal ships, until the sector is taken back the virus will spread periodically to the normal race ships and take them over (within 5 mins)

debris, i have no idea what your on about :gruebel:

What about the military bases in Xenon Sectors ? Is it normal that I can dock to them ?

About the station debris, I found them in the sector just north of Veil of Delusion, maybe they are here in Vanilla gamestart ...

is it intended/normal to have the jumpdrive fab set up in sanctuary of darkness requiring ice as a third production resource?

seems like kind of an overly rare commodity in that part of the universe

well because plots are out of the window now would it be possible to have an start with player HQ ? (u are taking on the universe so place to stock stuff
or m i supposed to play khaak only ^^
and build ships from resources would be nice ^^)
and any hope of getting more posible enemies? i know those fishies are planning to take over the universe :wink:
O.o somthing weird is in the air = i chose my allies to be split ((cause i like mambas)) and for some reason half the split are flying terran/xenon/anything else but split ships
and some of the stations they got from the start are terran models :?
bug or feature?

save this script to your scripts directory and you get a HQ next time the script runs it's checks ;)

As far as what ships the split are using, nowt to do with me, must be the game :)

When i add more races the plugin crashes on start so at the moment it's just xenon and khaak

bailed npc:s are red and npc allies kill em (if thers hostile fighters the allied caps shoot astronauts first) :lol:

about scrap u get from loot. would it be possible to mkae solar plants run on it ^^ cause u need energy cells for everything.
and dunno if u like the idea but = what bout removing allies alltogether and simply give player shipyard that need huge amounts of resources to build *ALL* factories? that way it would really be player against the rest of the universe :twisted: (maby give player 2 dozen LTs to kepp first sector safe until he magases to get some fighter wings together... if it sounds stupid idea just disregard it i allready like the mod just throwing some in the pot. :wink:

sounds pretty awesome, though i'd like a feature that allows you to keep whatever you have before the virus struck, (then again, WHY would only your ships be unaffected?)
that would make for a great end-game for players who are done with the plots and are searching for something to do with their fleet

Hi Guys,

I just downloaded and installed this mod. For some reason it don’t work for me. I unpacked the files and installed them to ‘t’ and ‘scripts’. The libraries v1.9 is installed in the plugin manager.

Am I missing something?

Please help if you can.

Turn it on in the AL menu.In a minute your universe will turn itself into a universe traders paradise :D

Love this script but i'm having some game breaking problems.
Here's some feedback on a couple wierd things i've seen happen so far.May be born from other scripts conflicting,but i've never seen it without this running.I'll edit this message and give you my complete script list if you so desire it.

The game set me up in savage spur once.After about an hour i had major TL spam coming through the gates.Mammoth's from the east and Ryu's from the south.Had about a dozen each at one point.

The kyon/etc stock vanishes after a short time.initially it puts about 15 of everything but then they disappear and never come back.This is happening every time.Makes upgrading rough

No marines stocked in the outpost,ever.Am i missing something?

Bailed astronuts(no typo) stay as unknown xenon object(or something like that) in cargo hold.Nothing i can do with them besides ejecting them like i was trap shooting :roll:

There still is no ice water in hell(sanctuary of darkness) :P

TL's, i'll need to check the code as a can't remember if i did anything with TL's it may be vanilla behaviour where the TL is looking for a friendly sector of which there are not many.

Khaak lasers, do you want me to wipe your bottoms, the universe is full of Khaak ships ready for looting if you start with Khaak as enemy, if you go with xenon your going to have to be careful, that said i'll look at having 1 available at least every x hours.


Marines, possibly the production cycle is not complete but i'll check.

Bailed suits, nowt to do with me (i think)
