How do you install and/or run mods/scripts/plugins?
I'm completely at a loss, and i couldn't find any threads that say how.
How do you install mods/scripts/plugins?

once u download a script u should find it (usually) as an archive , inside of this archive u should find (usually) 2 folders called t and scripts, to install the script simply extract these 2 folders into ur game directory overwriting any files it asks.
there are some scripts and mods that have to be installed as a false patch so once u download the mod and/or the script u find urself with the archive, inside of it u find 2 files with the following extensions , .cat and .dat and sometimes also some folders (t, scripts, maps and so on, these folders go as before, copy in ur game directory overwriting files if asked). Those 2 files go either into ur mods folder (in ur game dir) in wich case u have to select the mod from the game launcher or u can install them as a false patch by simply renaming the 2 files to the next number of ur other .cat .dat files in ur game dir (example, in ur game dir u got several files with .cat .dat extensions called 1.cat 1.dat , 2.cat 2.dat and so on to 8.cat 8.dat, to install the mod/script as a false patch u got to rename the files of the mod to 9.cat and 9.dat)
Well, i think thats most of it, i hope i made it clear enough, my english isnt perfect heh
EDIT : forgot to say that the above are the only ways to install scripts and mods for x2, as for x3 there is one more way, and that is by downloading the script/mod as .spk file wich can be activated via the plugin manager made by Cycrow (hope i spell it right).
EDIT 2 : one last thing, to use the scripts ingame u also have to activate the script editor by typing Thereshallbewings (with the letter T capital and 2 L lower case) while flying in space
