I do not believe this would be a complete set without the original games that started all of this off.
X beyond the frontier and X-tension.
I own all games x related however would love to see them all in one super pack. I would buy that providing those 2 games were included. that way everyone can see how it all began.

We deffinately need the OST for all of the games... 5 discs for all 5 games.
top 5-10 DiD's!
Game discs for all five games
bonus discs for all the 3 latest ones
Mug holder/clothing patch with races emblems on just like my Halo Wars one
Check out the circle patch thing at the bottom of the middle http://artisticallychill.com/blog/wp-im ... loWars.jpg I use that for my cups of tea lol.
Ship computer voice thing that you could hear when you turn your computer on and off... with the ships sexy voice "Shutting Down Onboard Computer"... "Loading up onboard computer"

This may be too relevent only to the subset of people that post here - I appreciate we may only represent a fraction of 1% of the people who will buy the game BUT I'd like to know a potted history of the Contributors to this both from the Community and from Egosoft.
I also remember a humorous thread from years back entitled something like 'You know you've played too much X when you....' -
Actually the 'You know you've played too muxh X when....' would make a great advertising campaign in the Magazines... Picture of a skeleton covered in dust holding a Joypad springs to mind..

Release said 'superbox' with no major bugs.
I've been here since the start of the entire series and wouldn't miss any new release but the fact is everytime a game is released it comes with a plethorea of bugs, and I understand bugs are going to happen, but I am talking about bugs that prevent a large number of people from even playing the game. It has gotten so bad after X3:R I waited 6 months before I purchased TC because I KNEW it would come loaded with bugs.
X3:R was so bad when I bought it at release it just flat out ruined the entire game for me. It was so bad I did not want to pick it up and really run with it like in previous titles.
I'll always be around with these games though, but my point is the status of these games will never earn any new fans. If you never played BTF or X2 I can guarentee you if one picked up X3:R or TC at release most people would be returning the game. Immediately.
Ok, now that my rant is done, I am not sure if it has been mentioned, but something I think would be a great addition would be a game mode such as 'Dead is Dead'.
Not a clue how it could be implemented, but I would love to play this 'DID' but really, I do not have the courage, or mainly time to do so when there is always that option of reloading.
X series has always been very strong when it comes to content and the community post-release.
I think the biggest addition to any X 'superbox' would be additional game modes that actually make the game feel like a different experiance, such as 'Easy, Normal, Hard, Xtreme' perhaps those options could actually mean something other than starting credits?

BUG FIX!!!!!!!!!!
We're at 2.1 of the...what?...3rd or fourth chapter ???
...and STILL AI ships crash into complexes, STILL ''empire managment'' tools are a pain in the ass.... TC is good if you wanna fight... not so good (not to say a nightmare!!!) if you want to ''manage'' your complexes, logistics, fleets... etc...
I love this game but sometimes, when I have to reload 4 or 5 times and waste a couple of hours, I wonder why.
PLAYABILITY is the key.
I think you lack deep testing... you should people with LARGE EMPIRES and many many many ships do the test and report back their nightmares in playng such complex situations.

XTM is going to be a must have.
The thing we need to look at really is price. Will someone whos not played X before be willing to pick it up for £35-£50? We will yeah cause we have invested time into it while our wives, girlfriends and family have complained at us lol. We need to look at price and playability. Let's get say about 100 people to beta test the thing and build these massive empires to see if we can find any bugs and then stomp them out. I really can't see the rush in bringing this superbox especially when TC is considered rather newish.

If xtm is to be added as its meant to be fan work would any other mods stand a chance of inclusion?
My team is currently working on the X1TP Pirates and Stargate Fall of the Titans mods, for X3-R and TC. Would we have a chance to include that if possible or is Egosoft just going with XTM?

What i find most important when releasing this 'Collection' is to have a few
highly needed scripts released as a part of the game, given the blessing by Egosoft.
1) Gazz's newly re-written OOS-system (once completed). Current OOS = Fail.
2) CODEA-script which makes the use of M1's a more viable option without
having to spend hours setting up ships that can be lost in 1 minute fighting.
3) FCC-script. Building complexes is hard enough with the stupid AI placing
tubes the most illogical ways. Give us a choice to skip the tubes via a menu.
4) Give us the possibility to sell stations at reduced price, placed or unplaced.

Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most.

In the Linux version of X3:R, they included XTM on the DVD (you're not forced to install it)Aragon Speed wrote:For X3R we could send over the full XTM 0.7.5 if anyone would be interested.
I'll even add the Sohnen ship sale fix and add the French, German, and Italian language files to the main install. ^^
They should also add various fixes, like the Xenon P texture fix, and the Xenon J carrier fix (that makes the J a real carrier, not a pseudo K with a painted docking bay).
Oh, and a small discount for every X game you already have (Like, 5% per game, up to 25% max).

And your American Fans?Belisarius wrote:It was never planned to make this box a German only product, so you will see it in the stores in the UK sooner or later.

Anway I am all for calling it the "Nividium Edition"
Also rather than the same old cheap method of releasing a games box edition, I think it would be nice if we had a single launcher that will laucnh any of the given games you chose to install form a single cd. A launcher with a nice little animated clip ( 5 seconds long perhaps ) thumbnail sized for each game. Yeah I know its one of those "extra work for nothing" games, but I never understood how the feel of a game is "nothing" so just do it please

Oh and do not forget to leave a little hint inside the Box as to what your next project will be

ps do not forget to add the Xgirl Standie.

What about some sort of fancy X-themed USB flash drive with some sort of content on it, it could be used to hold any mods that are included instead of putting them on a CD\DVD, it would take up less space in the box and would give fans that buy the SuperBox a cool little piece to display their loyalty to the game. It could be shaped like Argon One...maybe.
PC Gamer US gave away 256 MB flash drives with some casual game demos on them as a subscription bonus a few years ago and it has the PC Gamer logo on it, I was six months into my subscription before I got mine with a note telling me how to get a free full version game because demand was so high they ran out of flash drives before they met demand. I've since erased it and use it for backing up my savegames for all the games I play.
