Oh, there's more to it than just hitting "p" then "enter"?

A few tips

Xenon 101

Before entering pick a ship with speed greater than 150 so you will be able to out run almost all Xenon ships in the sector except an N of course.

Put a decent weapon in your rear turret to pick off N's when they close with you and set turret to target all enemies.

The key to solving this hint is speed AND a reasonable weapon load out, an M5 just will not do, there is an M3 to sort out at the shipwreck

Don't forget the derelict ship "above" the gate

It is possible to take out all Pirates which surround the TL with a single ship - enter via North gate and approach TL

Engage Pirates hopefully taking out one or two before jumping to South gate - reason? the Pirates will move towards you, the fastest ships will be first (M5's) followed by M4's etc giving the opportunity to deal with them one at a time. You will have time to pick up missiles on the way so don't worry about bringing any to the party

There will be several Pirates left at the TL

You need a Cargo Life Support system onboard

Ensure you have sufficient cargo space to hold the crew or you will need to clear out cargo then strip TL sheilds down until each crew member is transferred

Is there a bug?
I disabled mission guidance in order for it not to interfere with other missions and it is permanently locked. It can not be turned on again.
Is this normal?

Most part of Treasure Hunt has no guidance, only at the begining and at the end. During the Hints/riddles there is no guidance available. The whole point of a Treasure hunt is that you need to search, rather than just be pointed to go from A to B.

IIRC the mission guidance cannot be enabled for this plot (It would lose the whole point)

Eh. Ok. Is that three planets, three asteroids..?

Sod it. That's what this walkthrough is for.

I already know what the "reward" is, so I have no problem just doing it via the walkthrough.

I'm only doing this to kill time while my chips are being made anwyay...

i'm pretty new to the ship functionality and so on.. to destroy the asteroid in hint 1 to get the next hint, it's an nvidium 55 roid.. i have a couple of questions here..

1, how do i blow it up? I saw in the instructions to use a mining thingy.. i installed a mobile drill on a hauler, broight it over, got into it and that's it.. i have no clue how to tell the hauler to drill into it.. or do i not have the right equipment.. I also tried launching about 5 wraith missiles at it and nothing.

that brought me to question2.. if i wanted to mine it in the first place, how would i? I can't seem to get my mining ships to do anything.. is there a special mining station for nvidium?

either way.. most importantly i need to know how to blow it up. Please help!

1. Install the laser into a suitable slot (some ship only allow it be mounted in the back). Change your seat to that turret if necessary and fire it as you would any other laser.

2. That roid is not minable by default (for obvious reasons)

3. To blow it up use Hornet missile, Hammerhead or any equivalent. Some lasers do break it too.

How do I view the spoilers ? All I ever see is little coloured tabs saying spoiler with nothing else.

What am I missing ?

click and drag over where the text is (between the spoiler tags) like you were highlighting it, text will appear

I read the qualifications to start the Treasure Hunt missions but have not received any messages. I am in Argon Prime, have played well over two hours with 2.1 installed, and have visted 192 sectors. Any help would be very appreciated.

One little question to you both: why did you play this plot, if you don't like it and could only complete it with the help of a walkthrough? I mean there are easier ways to get the reward using a cheat script, or the "create ship"-Command of the SE for example. Also this plot hasn't to be completed to start other plots.
If I don't like a mission or plot and/or I'm not interested in the reward, I just don't play it.
