Alright, I've got a new one for you. Completely out of left field. It starts like this. I'm sitting around trying to get my FDN hub working with my CAG and basically micromanaging my traders when I get a message.

The Terran military has had enough of Unknown Faction's schemes and was invading Gaian Prophecy! Death to Unknown Faction!

It took me a few minutes to realize they were invading the Hub sector. By the time I got there, it was too late.

This picture explains what happened next.

Yes. They built a ship yard in the hub. Not only that, there are numerous other Terran monster stations poking through the Hub infrastructure and outside. :D

Now, I had previously connected the hub to Heretics End/Asteroid belt, Neptune/Terran unknown 2 and Argon Prime/Home of Light. The Hub was a high traffic area. Now the traffic patterns are hilarious to watch as they try and deal with the new development.

Possibly a bug, but certainly unintentional hilarity.

I had the Split try to take over my Hub too. I reloaded to before it happened, then used a script to set ownership of the HUB to myself. Looking at LV's code, I'm sure that will prevent such from happenning again.

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed RRF. I couldn’t help but notice in the example given; you have “Display Donation Centres”. Why don’t I see that option? What did I do wrong?

I believe it was removed until it's properly fixed.

I've been running RRF for a while, but now when i try to change the settings it says "open options. select yes/no"...i clicked on both, and both of them seem to not do anything. I can no longer change the settings for RRF.

Does anybody know what I did wrong?

I had that but quit and reloaded the game and seemed to help. Has a few hangs but rebooting helped to.

first: thanks for all your great scripts: i just love them.
Now for my question: do the custom wings (SEWN alpha wing etc.) work, i.e. do player ships assigned to that wing jump and protect? mine seem to only "protect" without jumping... i have set autojump both in the ship's console and the wing console...
I was also trying to use a carrier with CODEA as JTP ship: will it JTP, send fighters, destroy enemy, recall them, and rinse and repeat? am i asking too much? :roll:

This is RRF, intended for NPC faction ships to respond to attacks. You need a different script to have your own ships respond to attacks in other sectors.

let me check it but in the meantime you could do it by turning the plugin off letting it uninstall and starting it again through the AL menu How To Use AL Plugins

Ok...something doesnt seem right in my game. I see the occasional RRF ship in a sector (never more than one) which doesnt seem right. Whats more is that when I head to a sector where the RRF network says there is something going on all I see are the enemy ships but not RRF ships. I was just in black hole sun with a big Xenon force and then PTNI HQ with a khaak invasion going on and not one RRF ship joined in to help and yet they are out in space somewhere.......

Ok so I started a new game to see if anything would change but the story is the same. Im back in blackhole sun and there is both a Khaak and Xenon force attacking and there is no signal from RRF. They are hammering on everything in the sector including ships from all the other races, of course, yet no RRF ships are jumping in. Is it supposed to be this way? Its not like the RRF forces arent doing anything elsewhere so I know its working somehow. It just seems that they should be doing something in Blackhole sun seeing as how its being eaten alive.

No. Its still there and getting hit as well. In fact im parked at it.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to test it.

No. It was showing Xenon Sector 647 then when they were finished there that was it. And the activity in BHS hasnt triggered anything. I even tried triggering it myself by shooting a station to no avail.

It will stop the sector signal closing after 60s as it currently does, let me know if this works

That fixed it. Thanks LV! There are now 2 RRF Colossus in BHS now cleaning up.

Back in the game after a hiatus, and tried RRF. Seems very nice, but I noticed a "bug". Terrans took over a Boron sector, and I flew in to check it out later on. The Terran trading station had all the goods showing, even the upgrades. But all the upgrades where at 0, so it was impossible to buy jumpdrives, rudder, cargo and such.

I guess there's a script that puts the stations randomly and such, but afaik it is needed to stock at least 1 of each of the upgrades for them to be available. Also same with the salvage insurance, although that can be stocked to 500. Perhaps the same for engine, rudder and cargo should be at max capacity.


EDIT: Also, the Display Donation Centers doesn't show up for me, even though I have invasions turned on....

How much will this script impact if i want to CAP capital ships ? or will that be the same as always.
