would there be someting similar for the corporate mission (otas) since the guy from otas disapeared a long time ago and i get any more mission ffrom them

There is no "director" folder in my X3:TC directory, meaning nothing happens after I unpack the file there (I mean it creates the folder, but the in-game instructions don't work at all). What's wrong?

Edit: ok, so i need the mission director for this to work, but I can only find a link to the X3R version of it in the stickies.

Edit2: nvm, it worked. I thought it wasn't working because I wasn't getting a message when changing the name to Resetplots, but in the end it worked anyway. Thanks a lot for this mod! :thumbup:

Wait, so did you not install director and it still worked? You said you didn't get a message, how did you input the code to reset the particular plot?

Forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I reset the Terran Plot sc1 and I don't have the ship coming that you have to escort is there a do I have to wait a while? I did get the message saying "cheat mode enabled"

The mission with the escort is Scene 0, also called "link mission". No real need to reset that one.

When you rest scene 1 you will have to talk to Erin in Heretics end.

Edit - Nope shes no were to be found. Also tried sc0 and didn't start it. Oh well, Thanks for the script and I'll keep fumbling with it. Maybe I'll get lucky.
Also does the mission show up in the mission menu?

I'm confused, I entered Resetplots into the name field and the "cheats enabled" sound played, but no window popped up and I don't see any new bindable key in the controls/interface window. What am I supposed to do next?

Hmm yeah a bit misleading now that you mention it.

I was just wondering I reset the Gonar plot but my rank for the plot stayed in my stats, however I reentered the sector OL to restart the plot and couldn't get the Exterminator to hail me in order to do the plot. However does restarting also suppose to delete the plot rank in the pilot stats and if memory serves me correct Exterminator suppose to hail you upon entry to the sector?

What prompted me to reset the plot was the fact that I activated the plot and then went to finish the Terran plot. However instead of being in black hole sun he was in M148 (?) with Follow Exterminator" command so I followed him for a good 15 minutes and no luck on advancing. Thanks.

The Goner plot has nothing to do with Exterminator. That's the Final Fury plot.

Sorry I need to slow down when I type. However, I hope I can finish it as I really was wanting to do the Aldrin stuff.

Been reading this thread a while, can someone tell me if I can reset the Final f plot with this? My problem is that on the lv 4 escout mission the two cargos blow up and im left with a convoy osprey ton follow but he only goes in circles and never goes to the south gate. I fiugre i need to restart the plot for it. I dled the script .

Final Fury is Kha'ak Plot. Reset that one.

Just leaving the sector might work as well.
