i was using the no civs mod/script in 1.4
im not sure if it works in 2.0a and i noticed uve removed the civs as part of your mod
is the no civs available seperately?
Sorry mate it isn't, the jobs file is loosly based on ulfius 'extreme universe' from Cmod3, and i tweaked it extensively. It may need a further little tweak!

Looks pretty solid for now but one thing puzzles me.. Spoilered..

In the ATF core sector, only the S.. station belongs to Terrans (has the E tag at the code), all others belong to Argon, apparently (They have the A racetag)), is this intended?

You bet your backend. This is awesome.
I started a new game, so I've seen only some 20 sectors, but it's great stuff.

Love this piece of work.

I don't know if it was intentional or an error on my behalf but Zyarth's dominion has no background :'(

Is there anything behind you?.... Some sectors have had stars removed to simulate 'Void' or 'Dark Matter' areas. :)

Another change uploading atm, decided to start a game myself last night, 20 mins in, i was pokin about whin i happened to look at the sun, thinking to myself, 'I changed that to look quite different to what it does now', when i checked 60% of all the suns had gone wierd.... so a few hours of fixing and version (b) is ready. :)

Thats intentional! ... you will notice that i have re-classed the mod as a Beta for the time being, just until these small issues are resolved

Is it still necessary to restart the game, after changing from 2.0 to 2.0a to 2.0b?

yes it is annoying  , but most of the stuff thats altered in this mod, if there's a bloop  or error on my part  then it usually mean a restart.

Well, I am not restarting anyway.. Too much goodness already ;) , so I am thoroughly satisfied with it as it is.

Minor things I noticed:

Terran sectors - The one you put in Jupiter's place (Ganymede, yes?). Well, the plot missions, when they tell you to go there, still say "Jupiter". They do guide you to Ganymede though, so I'd let this one slip - it is a one-off thing too..

Now, more importantly, Isn't the Mars's moon called Deimos, not Diemos? (On the topic of that, I think the description of that or the other moon of Mars have issues - one sentence starts with a lowercased letter (not A, but a, for instance), and in one place Mars is written with the small m..
Nothing else to report.

Edited - Yep, it is Deimos, like the ship. I googled it up.

P.S. I love the new backgrounds and the void sectors!
And the planetoid models for the moons are a treat too..

And I reckon all of ya who have 2.0/2.0a, should wait until 2.0 final (or at least c) before restarting, unless you are satisfied with some itsy bitsy things that bother only pefectionists..

P.P.S. If I seem to imply that this mod in unfinished/buggy, heck no! It plays like a dream, all the things listed here are annoyances at best, and minor ones at that.. This still is a must-have mod..

Hi mate, you have now being appointed 'Mod Chief Analyzer' the txt issues will be resolved without the need for a re-start....YEY!

The ganymede thing the sector was originally goin to be called 'Jupiter, Ganymede Transfer Point', but it looked a bit long on the map so it became just Ganymede.

I call them Bugs, Cos they bug the hell out of me, but you are correct that they in no way affect gameplay!

I'm just a perfectionist! :P
