i'd rather release them for testing when all the ships are finished. So i won't be uploading every few minutes.

Colossus is done i just need you to cut out the holes for the docking bay and the launchers, please. Also the animations are stuttering for this one too
I PM'd you the link for the files.

The green bits are in the .bod you cut for the hanger and launcher.killerog wrote:I have no idea didn't change textures or touch that part of the ship at all.
it was still blue in 3dmax for me when i last imported it.
edit:: Just checked it, it is still blue but depending on the angle you look at it it looks green
When i reverted back to an older one it was normal.
I also noticed that the blue glowing bits at the back of the Titan were gone as well. Is it possible that cutting a hole in the parts is causing the textures to go all weird, because maybe it's messing up the UVwrap or something??
Is it possible to make that area transparent rather than cut a hole in it?
Edit:
It's green from all angles in the game.killerog wrote:Just checked it, it is still blue but depending on the angle you look at it it looks green

This is strange,in the file i sent you the blue engine things are still there and the texture is blue.
Making the are transparent is much harder and time consuming then cutting and the only way the cutting would of messed with the textures is if i need it wrong and it would not result in the blue changing to green instead it would be a random group of textures or one badly stretched texture.
To change the color i would of had to edit the texture in photoshop.

well it's green...... so something weird is going on
all i know is the unmodified body part is blue, so it must be the cutting that is causing it.

Is it blue in 3dmax your end ? if not ill re-upload the file.
I just check the body file again the texture it is using is blue no green on it, and theres no shader's for that material to change its color. So i have no idea what could be changing its color apart from its using a different texture at your end.
edit:: think i might of found the problem, the body part i sent you had a green hue added to that texture for no reason what so ever (haven't touch textures in 3dmax for 2 weeks) uploading fixed (fingers crossed file now)

i'm looking at it now in 3ds MAX and it kinda changes from blue to green depending on which angle your looking at it from, like some kind of funky pearlescent paint.
But it stays green in the game.

looks okay in 3ds, i'll try it in-game now.
Another thing, that docking bay goes through two body parts. when i land the bay is blocked about half-way in by the second one. Can you take a look at that too, please.
