Joystick Config Blues (Saitek X52)

Recently I've been trying to find a nice controller to enjoy my favorite space sim with. I purchased a Saitek X52.

Out of the box it worked with other flight sim games, but for some reason in X3 TC the wrong slider is used for the throttle instead of the actual throttle control.

I can tell you how to fix this, under the menu where you select the X52 as your input control, disable the "use throttle". For some reason the X52 reports a thumb slider for the throttle in X3 and X3:TC.

Just to be clear, you change the setting at the X3:TC launcher. Not as a windows setting.

No worries, glad it worked. It Took me 4 hours of mucking about in different settings before discovering that. I'm not sure what changed in the programming/drivers between the X45 and the X52, seeings how the 45 worked like a charm!
