OP it looks like v4 of your script still has the -50 Yaki rep.

If you want to check it, you can do so with this script.

http://members.lycos.co.uk/moscacr/X3TC/a.get.rank.xml

Edit: I double checked, removed the old scripts correctly... went back to my original -733 but when i pop in Yaki Shipyard v4 it shows me -50.

Yeah, your right.

I thought i'd save some time by just deleting the command line with an XML editor, didn't work.

Sorry about that guy's.

I fixed it with the script editor, should work now.

Just download it again

Found a bug with it. If you install this and start a new game, you die instantly. The hud icons are all messed up at the start of a game also.

Other then that, it works fine with a exsisting game ;)

All the rest of yours work fine, its just this one that causes the new game bug.

Thanks i've been looking for the source of this for ages, it happened to me too, didn't think it was my script........ very odd..... theres nothing there that would cause that kind of thing......... i'll take a look and try to fix it.

Ya, happened to me last night also, i figured it was my 2 day /played bug where no matter what i run script/mod wise, i always seem to restart. LOL

After reading up on adding some of the old starts, i started up a game and ran into it.

I did a full install, did mods slowly, start up my yaki guy then noticed this was the only script i forgot to add in, added it and tried the new start and presto!

Gl with finding the problem.

That is why I like to not use my scripts as setup.xxx.xx but rather something you can run from the Script Editor :) The auto-run is just for convenience, but if something like this happen it is difficult to track down the source if you just installed a lot of scripts :D

You can still run it from the script editor even if is called setup.xxx.xx.

And it was the start of the script that deleted the friendly race shipyard from v.1 that caused the problem

Of course you can. But if you name it something.different.script it will not auto run and thus not cause things like this :)

Than no-one would have ever found the problem for ages and it wouldn't be fixed. Plus I don't like having the script editor open in a save file that i'm actually using, it's just to tempting to cheat.

That's true though, but then again it wouldn't have been a problem either. I never have the script editor open when I am playing the game. Only when I run scripts like this :)

I do have the Cheat package installed, but that is as a tool when I make scripts. Kind of invaluable there.

Another thing. I noticed after I installed the Shipyard that the Akuma that usually inhabits Senator's Badlands retreated to the vicinity of the Shipyard and stopped there. It was a little bit damage, I am not sure if that had anything to do with it but as far as I know the AI doesn't repair their ships do they?

To check I destroyed it, and it respawned again in Senator's Badlands. I will keep an eye on it as I operate there a lot to get my rep up with the Yaki now :) Already at 707.

I have seen Argon and the other's M1/M2's take a trip to their shipyards every once in a while. Could the presence of this here make the Yaki cap ships do the same (?)

I'm guessing each race sends damaged ships that they own back to a shipyard that they also own to get repaired. Since the Yaki now have their own shipyard they can repair their ships. I wonder if this happens with the pirates and the marauder script?

I've never seen a pirate ship of that size anywhere near the Marauder though. But do AI ships send their damaged ships to the shipyards for repair? Though this Akuma just sat there though. Might have been a glitch in the jobs file for all I know :)

Ahahahaha :D i got ahead of you way way earlier my Yaki notoriety is 11326 now. I got what i wanted, Akurei Hauler fully decked out with PSGs top and bottom. Now i'm pwning Ks and Js left and right. PSGs goes trough them like knife trough butter. Oghhh the glory! 8)

Edit: in my game i have Mammoths flying around, it looks like they are part of the missions where yo have to fly to a Mammoth and return to the station delivering some stuff.

Script works perfect for me.

Well it's quite a good script :? but it seems that as the Yaki ship yard is referenced as "marauder" , there is a problem with the other script "the marauder". this one  http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=223132

So I try to remove the "yaki shipyard", but the shipyard is still present in the "weaver tempest" sector.

Is there a way to uninstall properly the script "yaki shipyard" ?? :?
I noticed that there is a script for ATF but didn't find anything for "Yaki"

So please I really need help !!!

Well there shouldn't be a problem with the "Marauder Shipyard" by TeladiDrone because they are owned by different races.

His scripts will look for a Marauder shipyard owned by the pirates.

And mine will look for a Marauder shipyard owned by the Yaki

So there shouldn't be any conflicts.

If you really want to get rid of it there are a few options.

a) delete the script named "setup.amurph0.yaki" than start a new game.

b) If you don't want to start a new game you can delete the script than blow up the shipyard (with a fleet or cheat script, whatever), no more will respawn.

OR

c) Modify the script to uninstall.

Open the script editor and scroll down to the script.

Delete all the lines accept the very first, all you should see is this.

001 $find = find station: sector=Weaver's Tempest class or type=Pirates The Marauder race=Yaki flags=1 refobj=Pirates The Marauder maxdist=0 maxnum=1 refpos=null

Go beneath it an press enter, go to the option under trade commands. Scroll down till you see something like "destruct, show no explosion ="
press enter. It'll prompt you for something, just pick $find, for the second thing put in 1

You should end up with:

001 $find = find station: sector=Weaver's Tempest class or type=Pirates The Marauder race=Yaki flags=1 refobj=Pirates The Marauder maxdist=0 maxnum=1 refpos=null
002 $old -> destruct: show no explosion=1

Save the script, load any save game, save it again. and than you can delete the script, and there'll be no yaki shipyard.

Well .... It works !! Thanks

In fact the problem is that with "the marauder shipyard" script you have to perform some missions with a boron scientist "Ganja Qwai" located to the "marauder".

Infortunately for me "Ganja Qwai" was onboard the Marauder but the one located in "weaver tempest" sector (ie the one created by the "Yaki shipyard" script).

Not very easy to board with my reputation with the Yaki

Thanks for your explaination !! 8)
8)

In my script the shipyard is set to neutral, so no matter what your rep with the Yaki is, you should still be able to land on the station, but not be able to buy anything unless you have good rep.

You could have easily zipped in there with a Kestrel with cargo life support and picked him up.
