TC Rolling Demo regarding requirements - question

Post by Tonko »

Hi!

Considering that x3: Reunion is one of the best games I played (and I played games since Spectrum 16k :)), I am ofcourse thinking of buying Terran Conflict so I downloaded Rollin Demo of TC. I have to say that it ran pretty smoothly with just a few small hickups here and there. Especially the part where you get warning of High stress being performed on your graphics card. That part also went pretty nice and smooth.

So, is Rolling Demo some kind of a preliminary test of how will TC perform om my system? Does it mean that it will generally run the whole game in the same way as in the Rolling Demo?

Thanks!

My specs are: (just mentioning the "summary")

TC Question.

Hi,

No, unfortunately not, the demo is just that a demo and as such does not include the whole game engine.

From this you can assume that the whole game will really push your pc to the limits so I would suggest another meg of ram at least.

Also update your os to service pack 3.

Beyond that I can't say much more as your info is a bit limited.

As this sticky mentions, 'is my computer good enough?' queries aren't really tech support, and should be posted in off-topic - so, prepare for teleport!
