I think Tupman should do a marine capture of a ship he likes. Besides, it is fun :) And the Hyperion is great to launch from, if you don't have an M7M. I have a Hyperion that I capped, it is a great all-rounder ship. Not a pwnmobile like in X3R, but still it can hold its own against a M7 most of the time.

I've toyed with the idea of a reprisal killings against the Paranid before, Tupman has plenty of reason to hate them, so I think I will go to war with them, but first, I want to map all their sectors. Better to know where everything is before I start the killing. And my rep with the corps will become fairly important, they are a source of unique ships that are probably going to be fairly useful

Split say you should first choke economy, so enemy has no bullets.

I certainly intended to set up stations to earn myself money, and then complexes to supply my arms and ammo. I also intend to try and become allies with the Yaki, since their sectors give a good springboard for attacking Paranid Prime ;)

Raven, I did have a nice complex supplying everything needed for my fleet and HQ in X3R. I was going to take over the Paranid and Boron sectors. It was all based out of Avrice and one time I was docking at a station and the game crashed so be careful and backup the game directory and save files. Both of mine became corrupted, and i was SOL since I had no backups.
