Cannot start a new game

I have played 2 games with no problems, as far as creating them. Since them I have reinstalled X3ct. I have been waiting around for an update but since this might be months away I decided to play anyways out of shear bordom. I picked the bankrupt pirate when the loading screen gomes up thats as far as I get. after 10-15 minutes I hit ctrl/alt/del. only to find XT3CT is not responding. I have tried 3 times once with humble merchant, same thing. I can load up my saved games and it loads and plays. Any Ideas?

It wasn't helpful with my other post. I am deleteing everything and starting over. That should fix it. I was just putting out a feeler to see if others were exsperiencing the same problem. Misery loves company.[/quote]

Without a [url=http://www.egosoft.com/support/faq/faq_answer_en.php?answer=610&version=8][b]DX[/b][b]D[/b]iag[/url] report it's pretty much impossible to make an sensible suggestions, and it isn't really practical to expect people to go hunting around for some other place you've posted it so please post it again here.

Reinstalling the program fixed this problem also. Except this time I deleted all files in both the steam and My Docs.

Perhaps it was a Script then?
