[TC] First abandoned ship found (Big Spoiler)

Right, I've found my first abandoned ship in the game. Just went tootling around (Terran start) following random asteroid chains.

Tkrs Deprivation

-4.2km, -58m, 62.7km

It has very little in the way of comfort but does include two big incendury bomb launchers

ok, that's enough thanks......... happy enough now.

Had a look around "mines of fortune". Lots of asteroids (and a destroyed capital ship just floating there) some of which seem to lead you to a point at the top of the sector (zoom out with END) but I couldn't find anything else.

Then my mouse ran out of batteries..... someone should proibably have a look whilst I'm waiting on a recharge (stupid not thinking ahead.....)

Just a thought.

There is Paranid Perciles ship to be found. I think it may be a unique ship as well.

An Enhanced Perciles, with sheilds(4) and weapons(2) and it is much better than your normal Perciles.
It is directly south of the west gate in Savage Spur.

Well if the Enhanced Perecles is a unique ship to be found, then I notice there is an enhanced Elite listed in the encyclopaedia, me wonders.

Well I'm Playing the Argon Patiot and I've been wizzing round the universe in my cheapo Split Jaguar I bought second hand off some guy in the free port in Argon Prime.
Up to now I've found 2 abandand ships.
I've claimed one but the others a bit more tricky, its surounded by mines so you X3 vets out there should know the ship I'm talking about and were it is.

There is an "Advanced Barracuda" in Hila's Joy at -33, 1.5, 36.

Not really hidden, just sat at the top left of the sector.

This is another (but different) advanced/enhanced? Eclipse (different shielding/weapons/speed compared to a standard eclipse (or the other advanced one))

The Atreus base is just in a sector right near it, in Queen's Harbour, and they sell jumpdrives right from the beginning.
Which was really handy. I wasn't looking forward to gating it back to civilised space.

Anyway, you're more than welcome guys

I'm currently trying to get the Script Editor to dump me a useable map, but those gate links are all over the place.

When you click on a "Think" icon you sometimes are asked to reclaim
Ships, if you hand them over is up to you, you just lose a bit of"rep" if you don't.
I was paid over 20 grand for fetching one.

I appreciate it as it helps me to safely only find or tell what I want to find and tell

Are these ships still unique? as i can only find and not buy? Or have they been put into stations now? Most of the found ships in x3r where unique.

I can give some more info on the Eclipse's... They are both the Pirate variety, seems the pirate eclipse is slightly better than the one sold by the Argons, and the encyclopaedia it claims it is of argon origin.
