I left classes this afternoon and bought Dead Space, only to come home and find out that Terran Conflict is soon to be unlocked on Steam! Talk about too much of a good thing.

Nope, this is the two week update. All the delays were on the publishing end, but Egosoft was still workin.

excellent game, now i just wish i could play it more since i have two tests tomorrow to study for

this game was most likely built off of the 2.5 version of x3 reunion, which was virtually bug free...so the only bugs should be from new/edited content...its not like they started from scratch and have all the same problems as before

just a note, 1 hour of playtime, 0 bugs...its not that big of a cross section...but its something

cause the east is a day ahead of the west? for me in AUS its the 17th so on time for me, unless ive missed something

I've finished downloading the update through Steam, double clicked the icon for the first time! Now I'm seeing Intro and Credits.

Because boxed copies had started to be delivered, and it wasn't fair to leave people who had bought through Steam waiting while lots of other people were playing.

I read the patch stuff. The invincible space suits do indeed sound fun guys. Fixed Argon mission actors with gender mismatched names? Why? That also sounded fun.

Seriously, some of the things that had to be fixed like secondary resource stuff are quite likely not to have been picked up by many players anyway. This goes to show just how thorough and professional the Egosoft guys really are. You guys really are superb.

I haven't got my game yet, but Amazon tells me it is dispatched. Hopefully I'll get it in the post today.

I notice the patch has extra content and the bugfixes are mainly consistency and tweaking... this is what we like to hear

After playing TC for a reasonable ammount of time now (bug free i might add) i was about to write a review in witch one of my only gripes was the wierd omission of a SETA button on the HUD, but wouldn't ya know they've gone and fixed that already!

TC is an awesome pinnacle of the series. you guys will be well rewarded for your patience

Is the steam version of patch 1.2 ready?

I tried it yesterday but it said it was already the latest version at 1.0.1.

You may need to force an update using 'Verify integrity of game cache' in properties.
